Mickalino
This is probably going to be a landslide vote in favor of one player, or perhaps between 2 players, but share your thoughts anyway.
ThomasRoane
Griffen. Cost us that 3 game losing streak and probably homefield advantage.

SonnyRules
Patten....nobody stepped up at the WR2 spot which limited our offense.
illone
Randy Thomas late in the year was crippling.
Sarge
Patten. WE had no one to take the pressure off Santana
terpfan
Probably Patten. I was not as concerned as I should have been when he went down.
Mickalino
Griffen. Cost us that 3 game losing streak and probably homefield advantage. Good point. Forgot to put him in the poll. He'll go under Other.
36HAMMER
randy thomas hands down, the offense reverted to it's ineffectiveness after he went down.
Mickalino
Interesting that so many people pick Patten. When he was healthy, I seem to remember a lot of trashing on Patten- that he couldnt get open, and when he was open - he couldnt catch, and he played with no fire, just a lackadaisical attitude. MSJHWT
I voted Portis, I truely believe our offense lives and dies with him.
Mickalino
Finally a vote for Tupa - I figured he would get some votes - Frost cost us quite a bit.
Pete
Imo, Randy Thomas by far. It effected the running game in a big way, and pass protection.
Teller
It's not a coincidence that our offense futility began in earnest when big #77 went down. You just can't replace an offensive lineman of his quality. (No disrespect to Ray Brown, who played his butt off in relief.) But Randy Thomas pulls, plows and protects as well as any guard I've ever watched. And being a Redskin fan, I've watched some damn good guards. Gregpeck99
Arrington's knee. The after effects are still with us.
J-Rad
Thomas. How did we get into the playoffs? Running the ball. Our run offense disappeared with Thomas out of the game Hope he returns to full strength next year.
SoCal Skins Fan
At first I would have said Patten or Thomas. Both were huge losses for us. But, the late season anorexic offense seemed to be coincidental with Brunell's knee sprain. He still played tough, but to me I believe he was hindered just enough to stay in the pocket that extra second for cooley or moss to create a hole downfield. I believe if Patten and Thomas were still there, we'd see about the same results we did. Thus, my vote for Brunell's injury.
RedskinPride27
I'm gonna go with the Patten injury. Despite the fact that he didn't do great when he was in there, I have to believe that he would've come on strong towards the end.
Dallsux
Patten. Having only 1 wr to throw to & no #2 or 3 to step up to help out really hindered our offensive production this season.
Jumbo
The epidemic of brain trauma, from internal cerebral-conflict concussions, and the resulting cognitve impairment that struck the message board this season.
