Whenever a team is getting drilled, the announcers sing the praises of the team in command of the game, like they did tonight with their endless lauding of Joe Gibbs, Gregg Williams, the Skins D, and Clinton Portis. Once the other team shows any sign of life, the announcers climb back over to that team to try and build some interest in the game -- throwing around terms like "momentum" to try and convince the viewer that the game is actually contest when it may or may not be. Funny part is that they complain about our fumble and not being able to challenge it, yet I remember Gibbs not being able to challenge Galloway being "pushed out of bounds" in the last game. Then they complain about Washington being down. We had the fumble anyways. Wasn't nearly as big as that 2 point conversion that was the difference between the #2 seed and #6. I hope they choke on it. What I don't like is the real potential for players on opposing to start throwing this allegation around a little freely when going against this particular demon. he'll have to be on his best behvaior or he could get a 'ref bias" working against him.
