Thinking Skins
I wanted to see if this was a feasible means of doing the news forum. As opposed to having 100 threads each of length 1, why not have 1 thread with 100 different posts? I didn't want to sit here posting 100 times to this thread, so I just put all the news stories in one post, but we could easily make it so that people can add stories to the thread. And we could do it like one thread per day, or one thread per week when the stories start to get pretty slow after the season ends. Its just really annoying for me to have to : 1. go to the News forum (since I'm always here normally) 2. click on the story thread 3. Click on the story link 4. Press the back button 5. click on the next story thread 6. Click on the next story link. INstead we could just have it 1. click on the story thread. 2. Click on the story link 3. Click on the next story link. See, and we've eliminated the most annoying parts of the news forum. This can be a site like webskins.org used to be when it listed the news stories (never actually listing the text) all on one page, for users to click the links and open them to read. Thinking Skins
That's a lot of articles, you must have a lot of free time Sorry I didnt mean to leave this out: These stories are all care of JimmyJo and HapHaszard who post stories regularly at the news forum. who are you talking to? :insane: I was talking to the members here at extremeskins. I just want to get people's opinion of doing news stories this way as opposed to (or in conjunction with) the way they're done right now at the news forum. I think this way makes it a lot less tiresome to read a number of stories.

Coach Joe Gibbs takes his Redskins to face Tampa Bay with the longest current winning streak of any playoff team, at five games — the last three averaging 33.7 points against divisional foes. Since Gibbs returned in 2004, the Gregg Williams-directed defense has been among the NFL's best. Gibbs has tweaked the offense enough to improve the protection and establish the signature running game led by Clinton Portis' 1,516 yards. Add big-play receiving aces in Santana Moss and Chris Cooley, and there is balance. Health issues exist with Portis, revived quarterback Mark Brunell and cornerback Shawn Springs among the notables, but confidence is high. The Redskins have beaten three NFC playoff entrants — Seattle, Chicago and the New York Giants — and nearly won in Tampa in Week 10. _________________________________________________________ http://washingtontimes.com/sports/20060103-124445-4073r.htm For Gibbs and his troops, the future might be now By Dan Daly January 3, 2006 ___________________________________________________________ http://msnbc.msn.com/id/10687593/ Portis' mother punches out Eagles fan 'Skins RB says mom 'busted some lady in the nose' after doused with beer __________________________________________________________ http://www.pfcritics.com/news101/WildcardPreviewRedskinsBuc.php Wildcard Preview: Redskins & Bucs Posted by Chris Pokorny on 01-2-06 Winner - Washington Redskins A lot of people are expecting a complete turnaround from last time around, believing that this will be a defensive game all around. Both teams have good defenses and good offenses. Their defenses will play better, but not enough to completely shut down each other. This game will come down to the experience at the quarterback position. Mark Brunell has playoff experience, while Simms will feel the pressure of trying to win his first. It should come down to the last second, where Clinton Portis will come through with another big run and the touchdown. Final Score: Redskins 24, Buccaneers 23. ________________________________________________________

Thinking Skins
Yes we do. suomynonA, you might be better to post all of this stuff there. (Make sure it isn't already posted though)http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=18 Thats the problem. I'm not allowed to post there. And I hate the way its set up there. So I wanted to see how much people liked this. I see people are reading this thread, but nobody said that they like it or hate it. But like I said, I don't like having to go through such a tedious procedure to read multiple news stories. So I wanted to see if we could have something similar how to Webskins used to be. The one thing I'd like to change about this thread is that I'd like for the newer messages to go to the top rather than the bottom. That way would make it easier to look at the most recent news stories. But then again, instead of posting new messages, I could just keep editing the top post. But thats just a small thing. Did anyone here ever visit webskins http://www.webskins.org ? There was a great news article archive http://www.webskins.org/mbm/ and thats what I'm trying to emulate.
