TheGreek1973
Was it a fluke? Or are the Skins that good. Brunell decision by Gibbs shows the old man still "has it" in droves. On a side note Lavar may have ended the carrier of another Dallas QB.
RobMexico
"Cowboys' Dominance Continues" The rivalry just got even more lopsided, as the Dallas Cowboys have now won 15 out of the last 16 games against the Redskins. On a night that honored three of the Dallas greats at halftime, it was the Cowboys of the present that stole the show. Drew Bledsoe completed 19 of 26 passes for 215 yards and two scores as Dallas won a very tightly contested game at Texas Stadium 24 - 13. Julius Jones added his own pair of scores, catching a 17 yard pass on the flat from Drew Bledsoe in the third quarter, adding to his 119 yards on 27 carries. Sealing the deal with a 7 yard scamper in the fourth quarter, the Dallas Cowboys running game looked impressive. Clinton Portis did his best to keep the Redskins in the game, putting up 89 yards on 29 carries and a touchdown, but he couldn't do it alone as the Cowboys had 8 man fronts for the entire game. While the great Redskins defense did its best to keep the game close in the first half, fatigue and great field position off of turnovers proved to be too much for the vaunted defense. Mark Brunnel took over the regins after a controversal decision by Coach Gibbs, and was ineffective agianst an improved Dallas D. Giving up four sacks and two interceptions, the aging quarterback posted only 135 yards passing on 13 of 27 passes. This loss is the ninth straight loss for Joe Gibbs against Bill Parcells, as the Cowboys move on to the sole position of the NFC East Division Lead. Next week the Cowboys face the 49ers in San Fransisco as Washington has a bye.

Chris 44
ESPN by L. Pasquarelli Dallas Cowboys impressive! Cowboys forge ahead in polls! Drew Bledsoe looked very good as he goes 08 for 28, two picks and 5 sacks for 65 yards. J. Jones runs all over the hapless Redskin defense for 28 yards. Cowboy reciever Johnson has banner game and is expected to return to practice in 6 to 8 weeks. Cowboy defense stymies Portis who rushes for just 166 yards and only 2 touchdowns. Redskin offense unable to get on track with just 402 total yards and 5 touchdowns. Game has certainly passed Gibbs by. Parcells comments after the game "I like the stadium hot dogs best when they are served with spicy mustard". Final score Cowboys 3 Redskins
