skinflute
I'd have to go with Dyson right now. We need a bigger possession receiver, and he fits the bill. Plus, he's a first round talent. Jacobs can't stay on the field and I haven't heard raves about McCants.
Mania
Jacobs should be the 3rd receiver, but I believe Dysan will start the year as # 3 because Jacobs is hurt.

Drex
Thrash is actually the most reliable of the remaining receivers other than Moss and Patten. Reliable from the standpoint of catching passes in the league as well as being a durable and consistent participant in actual football games. I'd actually like to see Thrash catch a few more passes this season.
skinsfanevan
yeah, you've got to go with Dyson. He's the man. Really, the skins have the best set of recievers we've had in a long time.
Bigredskin77
I think MCCANTS should be our third wide out.
HailYeah
what about Brown?

TLusby
Jacobs and if he is injured then I would go with Dyson. He showed his old form on Saturday with several nice catches while McCants dropped at least three critical passes and did not play ST that I saw. VaBeachSkinzFan
Why does it seem like so many people are sleeping on Thrash this year. I am more than happy with him as our #3.
Ricky Ervins
i dont think this is up for debate. Thrash is our 3rd receiver. Gibbs loves him. The only person who has a chance of knocking him out of that is Jacobs, but he has to stay healthy. Also, Gibbs will use different 3 WR packages this season in which Brown, and McCants/Dyson will be used as the 3rd wide out depedning on the situation. TODD
My guess is Thrash, my choice is McCants.
Hooper
How is Dyson the man? Because he made a couple catches against guys who won't be in the league come opening day?
dg28daman
I love DMac. But I think we'll end up with Dyson or Thrash.
bulldog
McCants hasn't shown much. If he were 5'11 or 6'0 instead of 6'4, nobody would be talking about him
GURU
I think RE is right. Thrash is going to be the 3rd receiver if Jacobs isn't healthy enough to make a run at it. For all those clammering for a "big possession receiver," I believe Cooley is going to be that guy. I expect Cooley to be split out a lot more this season whenever they can create some mismatches against DBs or LBs.
mookie0720
Gibbs loves Thrash. He'll be on the field as long as he's here.
TD_washingtonredskins
GURU, good points. We have Cooley, Portis, and Royal as options along with our two or three WRs.
SlobberKnockinFootball
McCants will be the odd one out. What has McCants do in this league so far? Nothing, besides just show potential. Dyson on the other hand has been in the Super Bowl. Was part of the Music City Miracle, the guy has been a above average WR in this league for a few years. So he has a track record and we all know that Gibbs prefers veterans over guys who just show potential.
TaylorPickSix
I want it to be Jacobs but i think in all reality its gonna be the same man it was last year...James Thrash.

I'd actually like to see Thrash catch a few more passes this season. Precisely. With Jacobs being so injury-prone and McCants focusing so hard on his arts/music career, Thrash is the one with real NFL credentials and a dedication to the sport. RDSKNfaithfull
Dyson has not played at a high level for awhile now. He also made comments that didn't sound to good. When asked if he has somthing to prove he said NO. He should have a chip on his shoulder and want to get back to where he was a few years ago it doesn't sound like it. TheREALJBird
Id like jacobs to be the 3rd receiver, he's the most talented of the remaining ones that could fill that spot, he just needs to stay healthy
