To all those on the board who are not skins fans

How can you possibly deal with being on this board and having a Redskin as your avatar? I know some i.e. Tom have special avatars. I could never go to another teams board and have to sit there and look at a rival avatar evertime I posted. That would disgust me. :puke: Thoughts, opinions, comments.......

Why should the avatar really make a difference... there is redskin motiff all over the place... burgandy and gold through and through... I'm a visitor and try to post accordingly, even if you don't like my opinion... but, this is ya'lls site...

To say it is bad enough, but to have to write the "word" ya'll. . . :banhim:

I appreciate everyone's opinion and seeing the other side. I am saying that it would drive me up a wall to post on a cowboys site and see Keyshawn everytime. I agree that the whole site is decked out in skins stuff, but the avatar is somewhat assigned to you even though lots of other people have the same one.

Sometimes, people just need to take a deep breath and realize it is the internet. I never even notice the avatar. Just like my favorite pornography websites, I am here strictly for the content. ;)

lol it's funny how absorbed some people become in this stuff... like your avatar is you or your personality... some of them are funny, but that's all it is... just a little picture...

I have taken a deep breath, and come to the conclusion that you are a closet Marcus Washington fan... Kidding.....

Very good question but it's just a uniform part of the site which is standard and understood. I guess it's just being extremely comfortable with who I am as a Cowboys fan and overlooking it. Also, it's very clear to everyone who I support despite the Redskin avatar. Trust me, it does semi disgust me and in no other circumstance would I be caught dead with any Redskin anything :puke: :) . I even felt a little self-conscious about wearing a burgendy/maroonish sweatshirt that some Skins fans messed with me about. In all my years of playing Madden, I've never used the Skins or traded for/drafted a Redskin but you get the point.:)

I do wish that we had the ability to have our OWN avatar. As long as it was Pro - Redskins.

Fans of other teams should just have a NFL Logo until it is determined where their alliances lie, and then they would receive a logo of their team.

Then there would be nothing offensive and yet everyone could represent their teams fanbase without a flame war or rules violation.

I do however, understand and appreciate the reasoning behind why this board has avatars based on posts/seniority. It makes sense. Although it leads to super padding.

EDIT: There -Their, same difference.

I can try to lead to super padding. Usually not to successful though. That whole rules and guidelines thing and the folks who enforce them are good at keeping an eye out for such things.

The question is not, how can they stand it, or even why are there here but rather it is why are they suprised when they take blatant cheap shots at the Redskins and then the 'homers' come swarming out in defense?

It can go vice versa with that as well...

I dont doubt the staff here at all.

Yet I know that there are and have been people here that pad just to celebrate certain post #'s.

I'd just as soon not, (talk about padding), that would mean a hijacking of your thread and though a little nervous about how that could go, I am interested in what some of our visitors have to say in response.

However, up in Rules and Guidlines.

For example, if someone asks a question and you reply just to say you don't know the answer or "test", this will be considered spam. If you want to check your signature picture/text all you need to do is go to any thread where you have posted. Every time you edit and save a change... hit the browser "refresh" button in a thread in which you have posted. Your account is updated across every post you have ever written.

PCS and I are talking about how some posters just make posts to make them.

There is zero content or insight to make a point. Just an "What he said" or a emoticon.

There are posters that have a view an opinion and some facts or stat, then there are posters who make 30 post in 15 minutes just to build their post count, to get to that next avatar.

Senseless if you ask me. If you have a different point of view, than so be it, but just agreeing with the next guy with nothing to add is lame.

Dont get me wrong, I love that so many people are as excited about the Redskins as I am. But it is a common issue on MB's.

EDIT: After looking at both of our posts per day it is obvious that you dont fall into this category. You and I are around the same level for the tenure.
