  1. How about we return to Washington Football Team? Sounds better than Commanders.
  2. Banks was a good fit for MartyBall. Finished 8-8 even with him despite the disastrous start of the season with George at the helm. Control the clock and give it to Davis. Long pass here and there. Stout D. Seemed like a good plan to everybody. Except Snyder. Yes, but doesn't that reflect a better running game recently?
  3. Funny thing is the O-Line is no better since then 😕 Ok 2021 then. Sorry. Those years just fog up in my mind.
  4. Dream or nightmare? I clearly remember another veteran QB breaking his hip on the SECOND play of the season because of our porous OL. Bearded man in 2019? Can't recall his name. Brady would be the worst option ever. Draft and trade for three superior OL and now we're talking. Or just roll with TH. No love for KC, our most esteemed backup?
  5. Young will be cleared to play. Here's hoping he gells with the D. Tough to predict this one. Either a huge letdown loss or a massive win thanks to our D and running the ball 40+ times. WSH: 28 Atlanta: 20
  6. C'mon man, what the heck is even "bogarting"? If the team is winning it's a team effort. Turner ain't passing the ball. There's a clear an obvious categorical change for the better with TH at the helm. Running is actually a good thing for this team.
  7. Time to go the eye doctor, friend. You must be watching some weird games in your location. I'm pretty sure Brad Johnson and Brunell fit the bill. Not franchise-caliber QBs, but unquestionable starters yes. That's about it, though.
  8. Yeah. I'll take that over losing with Wentz. Turner's gameplan was severely affected by Went'z poor execution. TH has had a much MUCH better showing here.
  9. I think people are forgetting TH brings a much better run-pass balance to this team. Since he took over at QB our running game has been relevant, not only an afterthought. Our recent wins are a byproduct of this new-found balance.
  10. This a typical letdown game as so many we have seen here before. Beat a great team, lose to a mediocre one. If this team wants to be taken seriously then RIVERA must win. But they won't, since there are way too many problems already on this squad that are temporarily forgotten thanks to frequent small miracles by TH and McLaurin. Washington: 20 Texas: 20
  11. Sorry bro, too many posts in this forum. My comment was directed to another person. Can't remember who, though.
  12. This was a complete game. More importantly, we found a long-lost winning formula by slamming the RB against their defense time and time again and launching some long passes from time to time. If they play the remainder of the season with that playbook I'm all in. That seems like an adequate identity for this team. An identity we have lacked for god knows how long. Unless you considering sucking an identity.
  13. Ok so you're telling me we should bench the guy who went into PHI and won against an 8-0 team? You guys are delusional. This is Heine's team now. Practically everyone has played better around him. That cannot be quantified. TH should close this season and that's that. Give Wentz a couple of opportunities in garbage time here and there, but that's it.
  14. Three yards and a pile of dust. Throw deep sporadically. My kind of football :]
  15. Ouuu boy, this is gonna be a stinker. It's a statement game for them. I really can't see us making anything here. Their D-line will throw our guys around like a bunch of potato sacks. WSH - 9 (all FGs) PHI - 56 (and about 7 or 9 sacks)
  16. Who the h+ll gave Dan the password for the official WSH Twitter handle? That's one of the worst messages I have ever seen on social media, confabulating financial stuff with player-related matters. Seriously, WTF?
  17. Why would you that man, now I can't unsee it! Maybe. But just a few days ago vs. Indy we got REALLY lucky when TH lofted that last minute ball ti McLaurin and he somehow made the catch at the 1. That was a desperation pass if I ever saw one. Easy int. Terry, being the AAA player he is, actually snatched it from Indy's CB.
  18. Yep. That's the game in a nutshell. Not re-signing Payne would be an absolute travesty. He's gonna cost big bucks but everyone with two eyes can see he's worth it.
  19. Is he? Seems more like a receiving TE without the mobility of such types on other teams.
  20. Sounds about right. Grab a blocking TE along the way.
  21. Y'all keep saying we should draft a QB. You're wrong. This team needs a complete OL overhaul to be consistent. Otherwise why bother?
