I expect basic competency and that's about it. That will be enough for a 6-11 season. I also expect: - Jayden getting hurt at midseason. He'll want to tuck the ball and run due to the change of pace of the NFL. - A struggling offensive line - Defense will be solid - We will win more games at home, at notable change from the previous seasons. That's about it.

Emmmm, why did the O-Line get neglected in the draft? I'm starting to guess the new regime blames last year's pathetic O-Line showing on RR and Howell. No other way around it. We're rolling with most of last year's unit except we added Biadasz and Allegretti, right? Daniels better start packing some protein milkshakes.

Season is officially over.

Let's just be realistic for a second. Most rookie QBs struggle with their transition to the NFL and cover their inefficiencies by running or improvising a play. JD will also tend to do this. Problem for him is his wirey frame. Even if he has some great passing ability the chances of being hurt are VERY high if and when he runs. And he WILL run a whole lot just to "make things happen" and try to become the next Mahomes. It's time we settle down and draft a "pure" passer like McCarthy plus some AAA starters in the O-Line. Don't try to re-invent the wheel!

Really? Only if you look at the numbers on a spreadsheet regarding weight and height. Randall was incredibly tough and had freakishly long legs. Once he got going he was very hard to bring down even by historically good defenses in the NFC East. It's the first time I ever hear JD being compared to him.

Absolutely man, until I see some clear improvement with this new group Imma keep remembering every fan that we just finished the worst season in history regarding our O-line. As someone who saw The Hogs, The younger Hogs, the Pathetic 98 Line, the Two Anchor System (Samuels & Jansen), The Dirtbags, and a bunch of other units who are best forgotten last year's effort is still seared in my eyeballs.

It's a considerable culture change. You need new guys to develop new values and a new winning culture. So between the guys we just signed (and I'm the first to admit I hadn't even heard about half of them) and the upcoming draft the FO expects the fanbase to hear the message loud and clear. I reallllyyyy hope they succeed. Now about those uniforms and team name... -

I'm getting really bad RGIII vibes, which at least had more frame than this guy. He was an impressive athlete but we all know how that turned out once he entered the NFL. -- Can someone plz post some kind of table and compare our FA acquisitions vs. the guys who left? Imma be honest here and say I know less than 1% of these guys. To me, they a bunch of whodats. -

Please tell me that's some sort of fake photo -
Howell is more than likely gone. With the incumbent rookie QB and Mariotta he's now the odd man out. Besides, lots of politics going around here. Howell was hand-picked by RR and the new FO has demonstrated they want practically nothing to do with the old regime. I'd take a 5th rounder for him and call it a day.

I think both will be leaders for a team starting from scratch. Crowder has been here a loooong while during different stints with the team. He's seen HCs come and go. He's very respected in the offense and special teams. Wagner will be our new London Fletcher. Long-toothed veteran that naturally enters a leadership role. As to productivity I don't expect much at all. They are here to establish order. -

I'm hearing the same thing. KC would be landing in a spot where fans actually want him to play. Say what you will but the guy produced when he was here. Granted he had very good WRs in that time period, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt if only for T-Mac. -
Probably when we beat TB in our last playoff win (2006). Good game. Classic Gibbs since the Bucs had defeated us just a few week earlier in a real nail-bitter.
