Certainly true in general. Not necessarily in this instance though. I haven't seen that any on the left are worried about the actual content of these leaks. Seems that the procedure, the open disregard for our democracy, and the spin of the content into "See! Trump was right all along again." are the concern.

You guys gotta read these comments. Yeesh... For a little while there I was heavily advocating Gopocide on this site. I stopped but only because I had to concentrate on this youth flag football tournament. Not because I don't believe that it's necessary or anything. Reading comments like these, the tweet that they are commenting on, and the response of the Grand Old Party to yesterday's testimony strengthens my resolve. There is 0 chance that the GOP gets it's act together at this point. We are past diplomacy or reasoning.

Which GOP **** shows are we supposed to be focusing on and which GOP **** shows are just devices to distract us from the other **** shows? I can't keep track anymore. Maybe that's the plan...

I would definitely like to see a website that is keeping track of all this. Divide it up by categories of people who sold out vs those who kept their integrity with subcategories of politicians, media, etc. Have a page for each individual with quotes & video clips. I want all of this recorded for posterity and easily accessible for everyone.

Agree, this is definitely GOPcare. They started this fight looooooong before Trump was ever in the picture. Plus Trump wouldn't have the foggiest idea how to craft a healthcare plan. 0% chance that he's read it and I'd guess that if you quizzed him on it's contents, he probably would score below 50%

While there is a lot of legitimate smoke in all of this, there's been quit few Fake Newsesque "investigative" tweets coming lately that are akin to something you would've seen in the evidence of Hillary murder-list file lately. P.S. And just to be clear. I'm certain that Donald's affinity for Russia is related to his personal interest somehow... Probably the least sinister thing I can come up with is he has some business interests with them and he is willing to sell out the country to moderately increase his personal wealth. I haven't shut the door on that whole hooker piss incident either :-)

I hear ya. I also like them for the bigotry & white nationalism but I just don't like how we can't be more open about it. It's like a can't call a spade a spade (so to speak) anymore without somebody declaring war on Christmas over it. So GOP if you're listening, that's two votes right here for "we would respect you even more if you would own the bigotry and white nationalism."
