  1. People saying this is a money grab are clueless as ****. The proceeds went to Sean’s kid. We’re talking about a memorial for a young man who turned his life around and was taken too soon. Have some respect… and know what the **** you’re talking about before bashing others opinions. all that said, I hate Snyder and just about everything he has done to this once proud franchise.
  2. Boy I’d love for Dan to be forced to sell the team mid-construction. If anyone is paying attention they won’t go near this bill until snyder is either gone or receives another slap on the wrist penalty and the future is more clear. idc how many times I say it, this team needs to be back in dc. When I lived down there it was awesome going to caps and nats games because of the convenience and the nearby bar scene before/after. It would get some casual fans back in the stadium, the fans who won’t make the trip to fedex… or dumfries for that matter. snyder and the city need to smarten the **** up, it’s mutually beneficial.
  3. Realistically, wentz and a developmental rookie were as good as we could have possibly done this off-season to improve the qb position. im not going to say he’s a world beater or that he will take us too deep in the playoffs (esp if our D doesn’t play to their potential) but he will make us legitimate. I don’t give a **** what the analysts say, he’s a solid starting qb in this league… barring injury and covid. Very curious how Ryan pans out in Indy. Ryan had zero weapons last year so fair enough that his numbers dipped. I’m a Pittman fan but there’s not much better in Indy. Really looking forward to seeing that fanbase disappointed when they realize Ryan is not special and they made a lateral move at the qb position.
  4. How different a story this would be if he Henry Ruggs’d it… thank god he ran out of gas. It was obvious from the start that he wasn’t taking an innocent stroll to get gas, but this is worse than I thought. Given the facts of this story combined with his track record, I’m finding it impossible to sympathize…
  5. You just don’t get it… last year you would have said our wr corp was miles better than the previous because we added Samuel. Well, how did that actually work out? point being that your 2019 roster review astutely noted how quite a few players were “washed”, but going into that season this board was full of blind optimism… which is exactly what you’re doing right now. Comparing your overly optimistic projections to a hindsight review of an injury ravaged season. as you said, outside of this board no one was high on us in 2019… you do realize no one is high on us now right? Wentz is the only reason why we’ll likely have a better outcome as obviously the qb is the most important position on the field. But overall, it’d take a homer to say this roster is miles better…
  6. i am praying that the reason we avoided your proposed gameplan is because Turner/Rivera didn’t trust the qb. And, I suppose, that’d be fair of them to do. i just need to see that formation of Gibson, mckissic, Terry, Samuel, Dotson… and I want to see it a lot. Who can cover that?! It feels simple and doable with any qb at the helm, but here’s to turners last chance to impress.
  7. Not even close? I’ll chalk your stance up to having the advantage of hindsight. take a minute and go back the 2019 off-season, remember what this board was hyping- guice was the steal of the draft, Haskins had all the potential in the world, we have the best TE combo I’m the league, PRich would take the top off of defenses, we had a stud OL… now, if you did this exercise correctly and honestly you’d realize you’re doing the same thing right now.
  8. i came around to this exact thought process. My issue though is that we passed on the best wr prospect… I just don’t see Dotson actually having an impact that would change that 14-10 score, I see him as little more than JAG. Unrelated to your post, but for the sake of rambling: I loved the Rivera hire, but when it comes to the talent on the field, I’m not seeing any improvement from when he took over. His career draft and FA history are meh so I’m just not able to put on the B&G colored glasses and give him the benefit of doubt on all of the reaches in this draft. I’ve been preaching it, quality over quantity and I truly believe that 1st rd trade will turn our stomachs in a few years. Blue chippers elevate teams. We haven’t found one since Rivera has been here and I believe this draft class will be just as poor as the last. ****ing sucks to be so negative, but it’s cringy how many people won’t look at this realistically…
  9. Okay now scroll down another 50+ names and paste that so we know who the FO is targeting
  10. Now everyone who trashed me for hating on our trade back please explain to me how u have any sense of confidence that this FO is going to find something in the late rounds. Look back at these guys’ track record, they draft poorly. One of the worst drafts in the league last year and we’re on par for that again. But we got two extra 4th rd picks… such a terrible mindset
  11. Quantity over quality continues to curse this team. We had the most talented wr and S in the draft fall into our lap… I believe people are crazy in preferring two lottery ticket 4th rd picks instead of a likely blue chipper.
  12. No. We need quality players… I’d take a stud over a few lottery tickets all day. This FO screwed the pooch and forced a WR who had no right going this early. I really want to be wrong, but I won’t be.
  13. They’ll get it wrong just like they got this pick wrong… and like they got last draft wrong.
  14. Yepppp we forced a wr. God dammit. Could have had an absolute blue chip…
  15. Annnnd we’re officially in no man’s land. This was the worry…
  16. WAY ok with that eagles pick. The cowboys broke my heart with the Micah pick last year, so relieved we avoided deja vu
  17. Abandoning quality for quantity is the reason we are the team we are. We had blue chips in our lap, now we won’t. This trade was bad… bad for both teams… trading up for olave is the dumbest.
  18. Thank god we didn’t make that mistake. I’m not looking for a #2 wr at the 11 pick.
  19. I think we just moved out of blue chip territory… I don’t trust this FO to get this right
