if im Ron or Kyle.... I'm calling NO and not letting them get off the phone til they tell me what they want for Michael Thomas... Scherff for Thomas? Then call the Jets and see if a QB swap would make sense for fresh starts. Darnold for Haskins (and we throw in a 3rd) -
Question for KDawg (who I believe coaches oline).... could Schweitzer go from RG to LG when Scherff comes back in. How difficult is the transition from one guard spot to the other?

Wasn't disagreeing at all. You're correct. I think that may have been the mindset going in from the some of the coaches thinking the DLine would overshadow the average back 7

I don't know if Holcomb has even played yet and we were all hoping Foster would have recovered and been a factor. SDH had apparently improved quite a bit but we have yet to see it.

As many 3 and outs as we have, the defense as a whole is getting too many reps..,..

has Khaleke Hudson played at all?

BRADEN HOLTBYG, VANCOUVER CANUCKS Braden Holtby signed a two-year, $8.6 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks. At his height, Holtby was an elite goaltender who won the Vezina Trophy in 2016 and finished second in voting in 2017. However, he's fallen out of favor in recent years. Holtby posted a 25-14-6 record, 3.11 GAA, and .897 save percentage in 48 contests with the Capitals in 2019-20. Vancouver likely sees him as a backup goaltender and insurance policy behind Thatcher Demko, who is just 24-years-old and impressed during the 2020 playoffs. That said, Holtby is definitely on the expensive end of the spectrum for that role. SOURCE: John Shannon on Twitter Oct 9, 2020, 1:17 PM ET HENRIK LUNDQVISTG, WASHINGTON CAPITALS Henrik Lundqvist has signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Washington Capitals. Lundqvist isn't the elite goaltender he once was, but he's a good fit for the Capitals. Lundqvist will be the backup goaltender and serve as a mentor for Ilya Samsonov, who is just 23-years-old and has the potential to be the Capitals' starter for years to come. This is also an opportunity for Lundqvist to finally win a championship, which is about the only thing missing on the future Hall of Famer's resume. All of these comments change if Chase Young is in the game... and Ioannidis to some extent. Game 1 is a prime example. Payne is taking the double teams right now. If Young's in the game, they can't double team everyone and Kerrigan/Sweat, etc, all get to eat. Our issue is with the MLB's still not covering tight ends and getting off the field on 3rd downs. Of course, this has a lot to do with so many 3-and-outs from our O. Payne is not the problem.

Hopefully it doesn't linger... we've already lost Ioannidis potentially for the year. He's our second best DLineman next to Payne -
Kevin Sheehan@kevinsheehanDC Just learned that Matt Ioannidis has a torn bicep.....it's possible he could be lost for the year. @WashingtonNFL NOT GOOD!

My try him at LT. Yes, one year deal. He posted on twitter he's ready. If anything, swing tackle. I trust the coaches to put him to use. He may be too big for a Guard role. -

I think it's more about not wanting Haskins to die back there, the same way Bengals are complaining about Burrow getting killed back there. I assume you were replyng to my comment about Dez above yours, and if not then i'm sorry, but it's worthwhile to see what he has in the tank as a reliable pass catcher to assist in Haskins development. Nobody is saying, at least I'm not, that Dez, or any vet wideout, puts us over the top. But at least with Dez, you're not paying a steep price or pick to get him like you would with OBJ or Robinson. Far too often young QB's are ruined or permanently scared in the pocket due to poor Oline play and fearing for their life. I believe this was true with Ramsey and others. and I do agree with your point that it's more wise to then build the oline as opposed to a vet WR..... something else I'd mention is either bringing back Penn or another name is Jared Veldheer. I hear he is trying to make a comeback after retiring last year. Cowboys tried him out a few days ago but nothing signed yet. Hoping Charles works out but i'm not counting on him, a rookie with no camp, to immediately be Trent Williams. Veldheer is immediately the 2nd best player on the line not named Scherff -

As much as it pains me to say.... we need to bring in Dez Bryant for a workout.... He's a possession guy and would do wonders for Haskins development. Who knows, maybe he doesn't have IT anymore, but we'd be remiss not to see. The offense needs help in a bad way (WR/OL/OG) #Dez2DC -

When the games start, Simmons will be in the rear view. CY > any prospect in a long time.... -
Holy **** I am happy to see this thread! I never knew it was here.... Blasted two of my all-time faves this morning on the way to work: Sevendust and In Flames (so glad In Flames seems to be going back to their old feel lately) A good one I caught this morning: "Welcome to the eye of the Tiger, GO!" Makes me want to disrespect my surroundings! Go to the 2:20 mark... Another winner:

I enjoyed as well! Just started watching Hollywood and Season 4 of Working Moms. Still need to continue with The Last Kingdom, though I still don't think it's anywhere near as good as Vikings Great choice... so ready for Season 2. Anyone check out FAUDA yet? You'll be glad you did if you liked Jack Ryan
