Watched Southpaw yesterday on HBO for the second time. I originally saw it on opening night in the theatres. Much like one of my favorite movies ever, Warrior (Tom Hardy), Southpaw is just bad assssss! Jake Gyllenhal absolutely kills it! Motivation at its best! Soundtrack is awesome too. Its like a modernized Rocky. ... and I won't lie, it is a bit of a tear jerker too.

Nicolas Batum, Al Horford and Ryan Anderson will reportedly be some of Washington's top free agency targets. If Batum winds up in Washington, he would essentially destroy the fantasy value of Otto Porter, and Kelly Oubre would really struggle to get into the rotation. The interest in Anderson is reportedly mutual, although there haven't been any reports of Horford seeking a partnership with the Washington franchise. With Markieff Morris and Marcin Gortat locked up long-term, it would be strange to see Horford sign with the Wizards. Free State of Jones... really good movie. McConaughey plays the part perfectly. I think the director/producer did a good job of capturing the facts and keeping it to less than 3 hours. Definitely at least a B

speak of the devil, just saw a Tesla SUV at work a few minutes ago... I swear Tesla's are the ugliest design out for a luxury car, IMO.

Trust me, I am a speed junkie... I used to build and sell muscle cars as side projects. Got old being in Fairfax County and never being able to use that speed. Lingenfelter Corvettes are true speed but going 2 mph in bumper-to-bumper got old real quick with a strong dual-friction clutch. Glad you enjoy it, just not my cup of tea. Could buy a Prius for a lot less and still save on gas. Probably about a $75,000 difference. Normally I wasn't buying a Mustang Cobra so save on gas but I can understand the benefits.

Personal preference I guess. Never understood the love for these things. In south Florida they are everywhere and they look like a cheap model for a Maserati

My wife forced me to move down to SE Florida 2 years ago to the day... I wanted to go back to my hometown, Charleston, SC... It's about 93 degrees today on New Years Eve and still sweating ... And I like the change of seasons...

I work in south Florida in a preserve... Banana spiders are some nasty looking spiders, and massive too! However, they do not bite and are harmless to humans. They sure do like to build there webs right at my face level though and coming face-to-face with those bad boys is like chugging a laxative.

Has anyone seen The Conjuring yet? I have heard nothing but good things about it and supposedly it's the most horrifying movie since The Exorcist. I am dying to see this, but certainly won't be seeing it alone. Especially not when the reviews say it makes you feel disturbed even in your own house...
