  1. I played little league against a 6'6 pitcher with about 35 foot distance to the mound... I think he had the Andre the Giant disease.
  2. white on white, or burgundy on burgundy... Anyone who thinks this yellow is attractive, is clearly a McDonalds go-er. Freaking Ronald McDonald's running around out there.
  3. Calling it a "White Man's Sport" is not going to help your cause... you're just separating yourself. Bruce Miller was a spotlight for a few days, but he's also a Fullback on a ****ty team where most of the conversation ends up on the only noteable player, Colin Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert. Colin also has followers now, so it stayed in the spotlight... media goes with the hot story. Doesn't matter if he's white or black.
  4. Tortorella is the voice...His son is fighting a battle to preserve everyone's rights and Tortorella is a pro-hockey team coach who can also spread a message. You put on the USA colors and you will stand, or your happy ass will be sitting on the bench, no questions asked. It IS a sign of respect, regardless of anyone who wants to put shame to it like they have everything else. Weren't there some who were protesting the "Don't Tread On Me" flag not too long ago as well? What's next?
  5. Has nothing to do with it... though people choose to make it that way. He says stand during the national anthem or you'll be benched. His son is an Army Ranger. He sees it as a sign of respect, so in theory, you're disrespecting his son. Find another way to protest if you're so inclined.
  6. So, he basically took a quote a made it in to a racial thing when clearly Tortorella said ANY player that doesn't stand will be benched. Considering the wide majority of hockey players are white, it's clear this JT Brown is going out of his way to single himself out and make anything and everything racial. That's not progress.
  7. Depends on the sponsor. In the case quoted, it seems the Air Force Credit Union has a strict code of conduct which mirrors the military itself, and the code was broken. Freedom of Speech isn't always free. And to be honest, if any sponsor want to cancel a sponsorship at anytime, I am sure they can. Just like with work in right-to-work states... they don't need to give you a reason.
  8. People of all races lose sponsorships all of the time. They have rules to follow. You don't follow the rules, you don't get sponsored. Happens all of the time for various reasons.
  9. so they're immediately white supremacists? I don't agree with booing the President, or booing in general, but I just don't get how they immediately become white supremacists? Seems like the cool thing to do nowadays with thinking everyones immediately a racist white supremacist if they don't agree with your way of thinking. In fact, the whole schtick is getting pretty old and it shows that the people making the statement are probably just racists themselves, they just blame everyone else.
  10. think it's pretty clear "its what is expected by those who adhere to white supremacy"
  11. So, by your thinking, everyone who boos the POTUS is adhering to white supremacy?
  12. First NFL game of the regular season tonight... Maternity photos on the beach with the wifey after work, and then some yummy Tijuana Flats prior to kick-off. Yeaaaaaa Boyyyyyy! Let's get some! Go Panthers! By the way, anyone who gambles should probably put money on the Redskins this week... Odds should pay out a ton if they win, its like 75% on the Steel Dildos.
  13. So, before we even play on Monday night to start the season, we will already be leading the division with 3 other NFCE teams all with big L's on Sunday
  14. Freedom of Speech is fine... and then you go and wear socks like that as if he wasn't always living with a silver spoon and he was some guy that's been 'held down by the man' Um, he's a tool
  15. under educated because you choose to not believe it or see it with your own eyes... Fight the power, man.
  16. Has it helped with oppression? I know the majority of black people I've talked to are disgusted by it, why, because it's saying that they are placed in to jobs without actually earning it. It shameful. And its NOT done the way it was designed.
  17. How is it not? The way it was intended was to allow those that I mentioned to be equal with the "white man." If you think that's the way it's actually being used then I am not sure what to tell you...
  18. Yet you ignore Affirmative Action and it's being used incorrectly for the benefit of blacks, minorities, and women You come off as a 'know it all' and you're always right... hmmm and you'd like a meaningful conversation?
  19. I know many people from white AND black families that have been handed everything, BECAUSE, they came from rich families. Can the same thing 'privilege' come from Affirmative Action? I know it's intent, but can tell you first hand it's not being used the way it was originally intended. Not arguing, but throwing some thoughts out there.
  20. Tired of the white privilege bull****... It's rich people privilege, not just white people. I worked for everything I ****ing got, and worked my damn ass off, never handed a damn thing, I just happen to be white and I've made something of myself.
  21. Not sure where else to put this... 5 LMPD Officers Denied Service at Taco Bell http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/5-lmpd-officers-denied-service-at-taco-bell/ar-BBvYz17?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp
  22. no state tax is good, but double car insurance blows. Definitely would not have afforded our house down here if it were in NoVA. doesn't make up for the asshole people that live in south Florida, specifically around Boca.
