What's better than owning an AR.... a friend that owns one.... hate cleaning the damn things... and I was a 240 gunner in the Corps. I don't actually own an AR, but I can't fault anyone for wanting to own one strictly for gun range purposes... then again, you can rent them there most of the time and you don't have to clean them lol handguns suck at the range. Give me a Tommy Gunn and let me go to work in my leisure.

It's labeling... and IMO, a set-back.

Do you agree? IMO, it does nothing but make an ass out of the individual if they don't get the job and on the other hand it's probably held over their heads if they do get the job. Ending these labels in all industries would do wonders, IMO.... I forgot who said it at an awards show last week but it was a female African-American Director who said she doesn't want to be known as the "First Black Woman to Win such and such Award"..... She said that just added to the fire.... we should be past that. How do we get past that? Labels create separation.

End the Rooney Rule, that's a start for the NFL. It's a huge slap in the face to talented black coaches.

I made it up ATL in 16 hours and now headed to western Tennessee. Huge thanks and appreciation to skinsmarydu and Riggo-Toni for being simply amazing and thoughtful in these difficult times of need. Anybody in GA/SC/NC/TN that can take in one handsome adult, and a cute chocolate lab!?!? lol Unforunately I have extreme back and hip pain and I won't be able to make the drive all the way to Nashville, TN where my wife and daughter are. I just know I need to get the hell out of here!!!

Got my house ready and sent my wife and baby up to Tennesee.. Spent about 6 hours after work yesterday getting the house ready... Now to figure out where the hell I need to go and when I need to leave. Looks like it'll be a direct hit on Broward County

update: my wife and daughter are leaving tonight for Tennessee.... I hope to be able to evacuate by tomorrow or Thursday night.... Monroe and Miami-Dade are in mandatory evacuations.... Broward (where I am) will be next

Great, I am in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.... Trying to get my wife and 10 month old daughter to leave today to head somewhere northwest. I unfortunately cannot leave as I manage country clubs and I need to make sure all of the residents and staff are safe prior to my evacuation... We were supposed to be headed to the Keys for the weekend to celebrate my wifes birthday... that ain't happening!

I'm in southeast Florida... I'll be keeping a close eye
