  1. Giants making me nervous..... they've got a squad it seems. Daniel Jones is their weakest link, however. RYAN ANDERSONLB, NEW YORK GIANTS Giants signed OLB Ryan Anderson, formerly of the Football Team, to a one-year contract. Anderson, 26, recorded six sacks in 52 games for Washington over the past four seasons. He played rush linebacker in Nick Saban’s 3-4 defense, earning first-team All-SEC in his senior season at Alabama. Anderson now joins a Giants pass rush rated by Pro Football Focus as 2020's 18th best.
  2. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2937375-cj-mosley-trade-rumors-jets-are-open-to-trading-star-lb-ahead-of-nfl-draft The question is, what kind of draft pick are the Jets looking at for him?? His value is very low because teams most likely know they signed Jarrad Davis to play MLB and they can't afford to keep both of their salaries to play the same position. His cap hit for 2021 is only $6mil. Fans seem to think if they even get a 4th rounder they'll take it and run...
  3. just re-sign Sundberg.... still boggles my mind. Wouldn't make sense to have a pretty good offense and top-5 defense, only to have to some special teamer **** up the snap to the punter/FG unit.... Way, Sundberg, Hopkins are all super close friends as well.
  4. safe to assume the NFL salary cap is now in the same ball park as the NBA/MLB..... Teams should never be scared of it again. Good teams just getting better as if there is no salary cap at all. It's all bull**** at this point. Just need an owner willing to shell out cash. (which we have)
  5. With Milano and David off the board: Not sure if mentioned here before, but i'd trust Del Rio and Rivera to get the best out of this guy.... definitely worth a look for a former first rounder. Jarrad Davis, LB - 6'1, 230 - First rounder in 2017 by Detroit https://www.prideofdetroit.com/2021/3/13/22329275/nfl-free-agency-rumor-jarrad-davis-detroit-lions-competitive-market "As we hearing it, it won’t be a massive, eyebrow-raising deal. But it could happen fairly quickly. It ultimately could be a one-year contract in the range of $7 million or so. And it will give Davis a chance to show what he can do in a defense that better showcases his abilities."
  6. After that Pro Day, and now supposed NFL Analysts propping Lance up in the top 5.... makes you wonder, are the agents paying these NFL analysts to prop up their clients on Twitter, reports, etc? Simply put, Lance isn't worth #3 pick... at least not at this point. He's nowhere near the BPA available at that level. Even QB-needy teams would foolish
  7. Giants just released G Kevin Zietler. He was by far their best lineman last year. I wanted him before he was traded to NY... that 18m for Scherff is looking worse and worse. Hope we can get a LTD done.
  8. https://nfltraderumors.co/saints-expected-to-release-lb-kwon-alexander/ Saints Expected to Release LB Kwon Alexander The report notes he is expected to be ready for the start of training camp following an achilles tear to end 2020.
  9. Would trade the whole draft for Zach Wilson.... yes, I think he's that good. Also, I mentioned a crazy scenario regarding Drew Brees in the FA thread. They are in cap hell and most likely looking to move on/get out of his contract (or he may just retire). Maybe a late rounder and his contract bring him here for this year if we can't draft one early and perhaps a mid-rounder on someone like Mond, Mills, or Newman?
  10. Crazy scenario.... Saints are in cap hell. Drew Brees decides to play another year, we send a late rounder to them for his rights? Draft a young gun to serve under him? Super far fetched, but fun to think about.
  11. Falcons Releasing Starting G James Carpenter.... https://nfltraderumors.co/falcons-releasing-g-james-carpenter/ Hopefully we can get a LTD done with Scherff, cus there's tons of talent on the open market right now that would be cheaper...
  12. Dak isn't Romo. Romo did more with less. Personally, I think with better QB play they would have been contenders. They've had stout O and Dlines. Dak at half the cost would have been valuable. Still don't believe they can get it done with him at the helm.
  13. Understanding that "It's a business".... isn't it a slap in the face to Kyle Allen if we went out an traded for Darnold, after trading for Kyle Allen last year. I read a while back that they are super close friends and train/live together during Covid, with Josh Allen as well. Just seems strange
  14. For other key Washington free agents: as of Sunday, there was nothing going on with Ryan Kerrigan, per source; the team is still trying to get deals done with Ronald Darby and Dustin Hopkins; Ryan Anderson is ready to move on, get back to playing as a... https://es.pn/3quWI8f
  15. Super pumped the Cowboys signed up Dak for the long haul... great for the rest of the NFCeast! Even when he had stacked teams they did squat. The NFCEast is ours for now, assuming we get a decent QB
