I like this change and I think it makes for a much better and more entertaining kickoff while making it more safe as well. My preference would still be to remove kickers/kicks from the game altogether because they’re worthless and dumb but we aren’t there yet.

I enjoyed Prometheus a lot I thought it was awesome sci-fi but since they decided to forget that story I’m glad they’re just going back to Alien 1 horror.

Things get really weird after that so I don’t know if anyone will adapt the rest of the books memories has been on my list for a while but haven’t found it streaming yet. rey is getting a new movie about rebuilding the Jedi order I think. I’m fine with that and pushing new characters and new time periods. The worst thing Star Wars has done the last decade is just cram legacy characters like Anakin, Luke, Vader, etc into everything and give us stories like Kenobi that have no reason to exist or significantly detract from the existing material. This has ruined Mandalorian as his show is taken over by “hey look remember this character!” the two things that actually tried to be something different or do unique things with the story and characters, TLJ and Andor, are far and away the best thing SW has done in decades

Denis Villanueve is already writing the script for Messiah and the studio said if he’s happy with it they’re on board. He said he would stop at that and let someone else handle any future books

I was at the counter and had forgotten about it and then remembered and told the guy “I want the bucket do you have the bucket? I need that bucket” He responds “oh we got the bucket but you have to get the combo with the drink to get it” so I did. Paid for it. Then he hands me a huge ass dune branded bucket of popcorn with no Worm Dunussy on top.
