I’m probably in the minority saying this, but I was proud of how the younger guys played today for the most part. I thought it was a solid effort in an untenable situation.

Here are some highlights that show a lot of the things I discussed above about Maye. I think people will fall in love with Daniels/Williams but I think they both have higher bust potential (Williams makeup/Daniels accuracy issues). To be clear, I like them both. Just not as much as Maye.

Yeah, I don’t see the Palmer comp at all really. And I liked Carson. Maye has much better pocket awareness than DJones and I think more twitch in his running style (I know you’re simply speaking on mobility…I added the pocket awareness) He’ll also make some “magician” type throws that remind me a bit of Aaron Rodgers. Side arm/pitch ahead kinda stuff. I’ll get crucified for saying this, but I think Peyton Manning is a better comp than Carson Palmer. No…I don’t think Maye is as good of a prospect as Peyton, I just see more similarities in their play.

If Drake Maye fell in our laps I would run to the podium. All prospects have good/bad things but you’d be hard pressed to find a better kid with a better work ethic from a better family.

Your argument is without merit. EB will be fired at the end of the season. Playing Brissett (who gives us the best chance to win) to evaluate EB is madness. Nobody wants to evaluate EB and nobody wants to win meaningless games that affect our draft position. Let’s move along to the next silly thing. 😆

It’s hard for me to understand how anyone would object to taking a QB in the first considering the QB desert we have wandered around in for the last thirty years. We are due for some good fortune. I actually think Maye winds up third off the board once the media fawns over Daniels’ athleticism for the next four months. We shall see where we wind up.

I sincerely hope you’re right. I’ve just watched this guy skate on literally everything and don’t see how they keep him off the ballot in states that matter. I’m hoping for a conviction that sways enough independents to stay with Biden.

It’s toothless because it will be overturned on appeal and will result in nothing. Trump is unfit for office. Anything short of stopping him from being the next president is toothless. I’m not as convinced as some that death by a thousand cuts will do the job.
