  1. This is a case where I don't believe you help a divisional opponent potentially land a true franchise QB and face that for a decade. We are much better off leaving the Giants stuck with Daniel Jones.
  2. I will admit to a bias. These super mobile QBs have been around since Randall Cunningham, over the last decade we've seen a ton of them and some on good teams. But only one (Hurts) even made it to the Super Bowl. As I watched the first quarter of the Ravens/Chiefs I told myself I have to get with the times and accept this type of QB as the future. An 8 yard run on 3rd and 6 is just as good as an 8 yard pass into tight coverage. But then I see Lamar crap the bed in the playoffs. Again. And I'm right back where I've always been, preferring a pocket QB
  3. I don't want to nit pick, again if the pick is Daniels I will totally support it. He is a very exciting player. But if he had to increase his work ethics could that mean he wasn't dedicating 100% and not a hard worker by nature? I want a guy who was always the hardest worker as my QB. Not sure if it's Maye, just throwin' it out there because April is a long way away.
  4. I am really surprised there is so much fan talk about wanting to take Jaden Daniels. If he is the pick I will support it because I believe in the new regime. But he just sounds so risky to me. This is all based off of one year with spectacular weapons. I know I know Joe Burrow, but Burrow is not this thin and we don't have tape of him trying to blow through an entire front 7 and getting smashed.
  5. So are these penalties in effect while he appeals, is the family immediately barred from working in NY? What are the chances he wins an appeal?
  6. His career season was 14.5/9.6 with 3.2 BPG. Very solid but not fantastic. He had 2 other seasons where he averaged 10 pts a game and 6+ RPG. Career is 9.8/6.4. I was a big fan, like Manute I really wanted it to work. But sorry nothing in his history shows he was ever a fantastic player
  7. Always like to support the Girl Scouts. Growing up my favorite cookie was called a Gaucho which is no longer made. The GS Peanut Butter Cookie is nearly identical.
  8. I'm actually surprised he is still alive. He is from the day when I cared about the Bullets/Wiz in an era when they tried to corner the market on foreign giant freaks who really couldn't play.
  9. Are there a lot of beer drinkers in Tennessee? 😁
  10. I liked zoos when I was younger. Now I am an old softie and I just can't look at these magnificent animals serving a life sentence in prison for our enjoyment.
  11. We were so fortunate to grow up with so many options. Other kids went on field trips but the field trips around here included the Smithsonian, road trips with the family meant going to places like Gettysburg.
  12. We both had a good laugh but the relationship went nowhere.
  13. Yeah I don't remember anyone being high on Josh Rosen after his rookie season. It came as no surprise that they went QB the following year.
  14. I gotta agree about the National Zoo, It's overrated. I once went there with a person I was just starting to date. She didn't know about talking funny after breathing helium So I got a balloon and tried to impress her, only I inhaled too much and almost passed out as we walked
  15. I got on the scale this morning and I'm down 15 pounds, the lightest I've been since I was delivering for Grub Hub during the pandemic (I'm retired) and eating my big meal in the late afternoon. I can only attribute it to being lazy. I get up usually before 6 and I am always hungry. So I'll grab a banana or most often a few Orios. Then I sit with a laptop and the TV in the background all morning. I get hungry but I'm too lazy to get up and fix breakfast. So I sit and post, today I got up and had a bowl of cereal at around 11 which is typical. Since I only really eat 2 meals a day I guess that's it. This would make me the only person you know who lost weight by eating cookies and sitting on my ass..
  16. Not sure what's confusing for you. If a flat Earther posted a video would you even bother to watch it? That's all she is saying, this guy lacks credibility and we have so many other sources to chose from.
  17. This really is a good question. I'd hate to see them burn a pick on a young developmental QB when they already have a young QB who has proven he can play in the league But is he a vet enough to be a mentor? I think obtaining a vet and keeping Howell would be the smart move, let them battle it out for the first backup. We could do a lot worse than Sam Howell as the backup QB.
  18. Well Jerry's post game presser made it clear that they do see it. The problem for them is they have no viable alternative. And I do not consider Trey Lance to be a viable alternative. How often has a QB draft bust actually gone on to have lasting success on another team?
  19. No I have to give him love for those plays. That's the great thing about being a DL. You can make 2 plays and suck the entire rest of the game and come away looking like you had a good game. He did make an impact. For a change. The saving grace is Chase Young did not get a ring, he would have been insufferable if that were to happen.
  20. I was going to post this, but it was going to be a joke. I think this is as likely as Dwayne Haskins being the starter in Pittsburgh.
  21. I really didn't notice a lack of effort, just production, from Chase until this season. Then he started quitting on plays here and obviously continued that pattern. In a game to get to the Super Bowl. Just wow. It makes me sick that he is at the Super Bowl and I will have to root for him to get a ring because I'm rooting for the Niners.
