    So, in the last decade, Allen and Payne are the only first rd picks to see a 2nd contract, not counting Scherff getting tagged. Now, it's obviously too early for the last several picks, but these last few are not off to a good start.

    I dont see how Dobbs gives them a chance. A chance for what? He kinda/sorta knew the Cardinals offense a little bit and he wasnt any good. Now he comes into a new offense cold in the middle of the season and he's supposed to be better?

    The dead cap still might be worth it to get the draft assets, depending on what they would be. Not like next year is Super Bowl or bust.

    Poole is talented, but he has no interest in taking this thing seriously and being a good basketball player. He's just out there goofing around. You'll never win with a guy like this as the focal point.

    How is it the process for Ron to decide challenges based on the stadium replay? But remember when we made fun of Bruce Allen who made it part of his job to help decide challenges in the booth because he felt they needed such a thing. lol Apparently Ron felt he had a better idea.

    Just quick googling, I've seen the numbers of balls available for a game anywhere from 24 to 50. Presumably, that's news balls for every game. They'd be fining people $10k for every ball that got tossed into the stands. lol Then whatever other tech is involved, like chipping the markers too, receivers. Like you say, they probably just dont want to bother with all that.

    But I feel like the new head coach, DC, and GM need to be making that decision, not Rivera and Mayhew. I'd rather the new people evaluate and decide what their vision is and who they want, rather than Rivera (or even Harris) telling them which one they're gonna have. Keeping them to the end of the season doesn't eliminate the possibility of getting an asset in return, it just eliminates the guarantee of it.

    Agreed, I haven't seen a rookie so demonstrably shaken the way Forbes looks in a long time. Inspires zero confidence at a position where you need to shake it off.

    In fairness, the only knock against him on draft day was his size. But otherwise, as a cover guy, I remember all the draft coverage raving about him. They still took the wrong guy, but we can't be revisionist about the scouting report on him.coming out.

    They're into making changes on the OL now, Lucas needs to replace Wylie in the next game.

    Well, not so fast. Had the Giants won today, we'd be in last place. At this point, would us finishing last surprise you?

    I dont think Chase Young got credited for anything in the game until late in the 4th.

    We scored 31 in each game and lost 'em both.

    They gotta do something to give the onside kick back at least a reasonable chance of being recovered. It's an exciting play.

    I didn't like Howell's weird footwork there, coulda thrown a better ball had his mechanics been right. But Terry still shoulda caught it.

    Whatever the over/under on Howell passing yardage is, definitely shoulda taken the under. Doesn't look like they're gonna throw a ball past 5 yards, they're so deathly afraid of the pressure.

    I can see our guys going to silent count at home in this one. Seems kinda loud on offense to start out.

    I just watched the clip, Glazer was basically just inferring this from the postgame comments last week, rather than any actual reporting or scuttlebutt he was hearing. He overstated things there, IMO. He took the frustration to mean he wants out.

    As Tomlin said, we want volunteers, not hostages. But I'm not surprised about Allen, we're wasting the careers of some good players. They gotta be tired of it. I'd be surprised if Mclaurin didnt get fed up with it at some point.
