  1. Haha I thought maybe they were too, but it made zero sense because it was after he did something stupid lol. It wasn't like how they yelled COOOOOOOOOLEY every time he had a big play. I could definitely tell it was boos on TV.
  2. I was watching some of the game last night and definitely noticed that the home town crowd was booing Poole.
  3. Well, something is definitely going on. Note it is called "Microsoft Game Pass" there...
  4. Actually Xbox has not always done that. It's new this gen. Xbox 360 did not play Xbox games. Xbox One did not play 360 games at launch either, and they had to work on each game individually to get them to work on the One. It was a long drawn out process and I wouldn't be surprised if not every game ended up making the cut. The only "real" backwards compatible one is the latest one.
  5. The games you bought will always work on the console you bought them for. My SNES games still work on my SNES. The games you purchased digitally will always work on the Xbox you purchased them on. You shouldn't have any expectation that the games you bought today will work on the next gen console. However you may not be able to download them again in the future if you delete them. That has already happened for games on older consoles. That is also why I always buy physical if it's an option.
  6. Microsoft is ALREADY in this space of streaming games with the Xcloud, or whatever they have renamed it too, which looks like Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta). It's in beta now and I could see it improving a bit in the 5 or so years left of this gen, unless it goes longer. I am also with you in that if streaming games became mainstream then I'd be out on that platform. I am already super sensitive to input lag and playing all my games with some sort of latency, even for single player games, just would be unacceptable to me personally. But they are clearly going that direction based on their Xbox cloud gaming platform. They have just clearly been going this direction of "games as a service" for a while now and I believe that the Xbox Cloud Gaming thing is their end goal for the TV gaming at home. I believe they will still have gamepass and Xbox platform that will run on PC even once they are out of the console hardware space.
  7. The size of the game has nothing to do with how streaming works. It's just streaming video. The game is running on other hardware far away. I agree we're not ready for it and I won't ever be ready for it personally because there is inherently going to be latency due to physics. Again, I'm not talking about killing the Xbox brand. I said I think they will be out of the console business after the series X/S. They will still have the Xbox platform, it will just be on other devices IMO. This is all just speculation of course I don't know anything, but Microsoft has been trending this way for a while now, and talks of them leaving the console hardware industry. I believe within 10 years Xbox will be strictly software, aside from light weight thin clients that can use their platform. Of the bolded, what journalist has said that? If you are referring to me, I would have told you I believe this like a year+ ago. This new news isn't the reason I believe that. However it just makes me believe it more that if it's true then they are going the software route. They also bought out all of these huge software companies the past couple of years.
  8. I never said kill the current Xbox console. I said I don't think there will be one after the current series versions. We're like 2-3 years into the current gen and they last like 7-8 years. 4-5 more years is a long time. I think their end goal is to basically sell a controller or thin client that plugs into your TV or connects to your phone/tablet and lets you stream games, via a service like xcloud or gamepass. And now the word is MS is considering bring Gears of War to PS.
  9. Microsoft is still losing money on console sales. They are planning on killing off physical media for Xbox this year. It's clear as day they are trying to go gamepass and/or a streaming service only. I kind of don't think they CARE if the Xbox console is going to die of. I think it's their long term plan. I don't think they plan on making another console after the current Series ones. It's basically just an underpowered PC at this point with every game being on PC as well.
  10. Curry with a 60 berder and an L... OL.
  11. Yeah I really don't understand the uproar over this. They can miss 20% of the season and still be eligible. Anything more and they can't. 20% is a large amount of leeway IMO. Barkley said he thinks it should have bee 70 games not 65 games. It sucks that players like Embiid keep getting hurt but I mean there isn't much they can do about it.
  12. Yeah I agree with you. Like I said, I don't THINK it was intentional, it just kinda LOOKS dirty because the way he just looks to put his weight down on his knee, almost as if it's on purpose. Something about it kind of made me think of the hip tackles in the NFL that are injuring people, and yes I realize it's not the same. Maybe that's why I thought it looked dirty.
  13. The reaction to this is unreal. The comparison is Rivera is as flawed as it comes. We have actual adults and grown men making these decisions now, not Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen. Jesus christ you'd think that we had a chance to get Patrick Mahomes and he slipped right out of our hands based on the way people are reacting to this. People already acting all doom and gloom and we haven't even gotten to the off season yet with our new owner and GM. Unreal.
  14. Already seen that one and yes it was great. I posted about watching it per recommendation in here.
  15. I had no clue there was a season 2 to the Murdaugh documentary on Netflix and came across it the other night and finished it last night. I'd say it's even more riveting than the first season was. It's only 3 episodes just like season 1 so it goes by real quick. It's like 90 minutes total I think. Anyone have any other documentary recommendations similar to stuff like that? I am super intrigued by those types of documentaries involving police work with body cam and surveillance footage. I watch a lot of those shows on ID and A&E.
  16. It could definitely be unintentional, but that play looks somewhat dirty to me.
  17. Listening to local sports radio right now is ****ing unbearable. You would think that we let ****ing BB and Tom Brady get away in their prime holy **** this is annoying.
  18. My brother is going to go. I would have gone but I got a work related poker tournament thing on Friday at Maryland Live.
  19. Not sure if you know, but you can directly share stuff from PS5 to yourself. I've uploaded videos to Youtube directly from PS5. It looks and sounds a lot better than when I took videos from my phone and posted them.
  20. Wasn't there already a TLOU2 PS5 upgrade patch that was $10?
  21. Watched American Nightmare yesterday based on your all recommendations in here. Wow what a riveting documentary and I had not heard about that story before. It was totally ****ed up. I feel really bad for that couple but they seem to be doing fine now.
  22. Yes I get the idea, but the phrase is not "2 vs 1" it is "2 for 1". It's just the wording of "2 for 1" that grinds my gears.
  23. Good then we won't have to hear him (or try to hear his voice) commentating games.
