3-1 in my last post, on point except for that tennis match. Two locks for Wednesday: Orioles -165, Yankees have nothing on Burnes. Reds +115, Musgrove has been awful this year.

Ever since Judge ran through that wall and messed up his toe he hasn't been the same. They have talent on that team but they don't have the speed, power, or hitting that we have. Defensively they are mediocre. Pitching is about equal. We are going to sweep this series I am sure of it.

Yankees aren't that good, I'll just put it like that. I knew the Orioles would win today! Even bet on it, and I never bet on my teams. Judge is not himself and Stanton is a broken man. Nobody other than Soto scares me.

I don't get our obsession with DTs, but I see that Newton was rated fairly highly so can't hate too much on it. Still, wasn't a need imo.

I really want the Patriots to draft JJ McCarthy cuz I bet $20 on them to draft him back in March at +1440 lol. It is now at +150. I think they will draft Maye though unfortunately.

I predicted Daniels several weeks ago, and I stick with that. Once we signed Mariota I felt that was pretty indicative of the direction we are going in, considering they have the same skill set. Vegas favors us selecting Daniels as well, odds have shot up. I am 98% sure we are selecting him.

Now a block by the big man. Those are the players you need to win championship games, doing all the dirty work. Embiid miss, game over.

That seems to be the main talking point on OH aka sending him down to AAA will do no good because he has already proven he can hit AAA pitchers. Some also contend that AAA pitching is really weak. I don't really know what the answer is frankly, because I don't think sending him up against major league pitching only to see him fail is all that beneficial. At some point you need to instill some confidence. If a team wants to trade us any good starting MLB with even two years of control, I'd be fine with that. Unless there is some hidden trade stipulation in his contract that I am unaware of. Like for instance if the Diamondbacks wanted to trade us Zac Gallen (they would never do that, just picking a random pitcher) for Holliday straight up, I'd do that. I agree at some point we need to trade some of these hitting prospects for some pitching, it makes no sense to stockpile all this talent if we can't play them all. Mayo, Stowers, Norby, and Kjerstad are just rotting away in AAA. At some point Bradfield is gonna deserve a shot too. We need pitching, we don't even have that many quality arms in the farm system. All our top prospects are hitters.

Here is a crazy idea, trade Holliday now for a legit starting MLB pitcher and other assets. If we want to win this year, we are going to need it. I don't think Holliday is going to contribute much this year. I know that is a wacky idea, so I don't really think it will happen. Watching the kid hit though, I honestly have concerns regarding his long-term prospects.

Every time I see Holliday at bat he looks awkward. I noticed the mistiming of his stride foot right away, they need to work on that. He is off balance every at bat.

Yeah I mean it could always get worse. It is definitely by far the most tumultuous region of the world.

Eh, I see this turning out very badly. Middle East will become a barren wasteland full of death and misery.
