  1. Heh I see Yahoo Flex has him rated at #22 overall. Not bad. Not bad at all. I am concerned that he once again will not even start. https://sports.yahoo.com/week-9-fantasy-football-flex-rankings-213502029.html
  2. This fantasy site has Gibson rated very high this week.... PPR Flex #18 https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/ppr-flex.php It seems high but maybe they are a Football TEAM fan so lets see if they are right.
  3. I wonder how many great runners were released because they didn't excel in pass pro. Here's my take on pass pro. If a guy is SO bad at PP yet so great otherwise including good hands, find a way to let him gash D's. Don't even line him up in the backfield in those obvious blitzing downs. Sub him out for the mediocre guy, or motion him out wide and make the D be less likely to bring that 1 blitzer that he cannot block anyways. On a side note, even good blocking RBs miss assignments or otherwise fail to stop the jailbreak by defenses. Why worry about the RB blocking when your guard in on every play sucks ass in PP.
  4. Why did Barber get the start.... did Thurman Thomas Syndrome strike? Not that it matters as it's more about snaps and touches/targets anyways. I feel like there is a lot to unlock in the playbook as a former receiver but we seem to be using him as a pure runner a bit more than I expected (CMC grade greatness of course). As thin as we are at WR I was expecting to see McKiss and Gibson on the field together. And hoping to see that as well as I think its a curveball for defenses. Defenses must love seeing base traditional predictable personnel packages. Me? I want to see Gibson motioned out wide and go deep a few times a game. See if we get a LB on him or mismatch. And then run McKissic up the gut. Love the curveballs and ****ing with DC's.
  5. You have him too, huh. Fantasy aside while he's raw and needs the reps to develop, teams sub out more than ever. Heck we even seen QBs subbed out - Brees. Another one on my team.... Also, trust with coaches in pass pro is usually lacking with rooks...
  6. We have the worst PR department. Like, we don't have one. When the best thing going for your PR is a pandemic preventing your stadium being overrun by out of town fans every game for years, you got problems. Let's go Team! Its so ****ing lame its a generic chant that can be used by every team.
  7. WFT is about the dumbest name they could have come up with. Its basically no name and is akin to giving up. Too damn close to What the ****. I presume Dan doesn't want to negotiate with the guy smart enough to horde the possible names. Tap out proper and go with: Washington Whatevers
  8. Agree. I would look to firm up at QB OL and WR long before inking a high price TE. We have holes all over on offense.
  9. HIs stock is falling on an impressive pace along with Wentz. It's funny I found an article from 15 months ago at how DeSean "Hammy Sandwich" Jackson was going to really opening things up for Ertz so he can start to right that embarrassing YAC trend.
  10. I thought I saw someone in this thread throwing his name out. I don't think the Eagles would trade him with Dallas injured. But his yards after catch is falling year after year. Zach Ertz will turn 30 next month. His yards after catch per reception, by season: 2015: 4.27 2016: 3.58 2017: 3.45 2018: 3.22 2019: 3.11 2020: 2.21
  11. He is no WR but a hard pass on any Ertz trade talk. He is slower than molasses and makes Jeremy look like a greyhound.
  12. He seems to run a bit more compact to me... he's no Robert Newhouse or Rick Bandanjek of course... struggling to find my comp. Not sure if true but remember Craig was a high stepper. Courtesy Roger Craig Clip
  13. Stolen from Twitter Antonio Gibson is tied with Josh Jacobs for 1st in the NFL in broken tackles on half the carries. Among qualified RB, he ranks: 3rd in PFF rushing grade, 11th in receiving grade, 8th in elusiveness grade. Upcoming schedule: NYG,DAL,NYG,DET,CIN,DAL. He's gonna ball tf out.
  14. I have long theorized OTAs are bull**** and not needed for our entertainment. I was very happy watching ball back in the 70s in 80s when players would show up out of shape. Is anyone finding football less entertaining now because Covid shortened offseason workouts? Scoring seems the same if not up, yet we always hear offenses need more time blah blah blah all bull**** its time to give players far more time off during offseasons. Some may argue we are seeing more injuries I call bunk players get injured in OTAs and camp.
  15. And look at Baltimore takes a knee to avoid injury on a wasted final play of the game after wisely using their TOs. Meanwhile RR runs our prized rookie up the gut while telling us he is trying to avoid injuries. Short Washington until we see otherwise we will never have those garbage time drives that often kill the cover.
  16. It was nice to see Chicago come back and win from being down 14 with under 5 to play, so that can be pointed out to RR. I hope the media stays on RR about his bizarre unwillingness to try to win games - two weeks in a row is beyond unsettling. I bet any group of players would be disappointed, but especially a young team looking up all shiny eyed at a respected coach. The players want snaps they want stats that's how they get paid. Garbage time is easy money. Plus, you know, most all probably hate losing. Playing the injury phobia card doesn't cut it IMO, otherwise he would have taken a knee on our final plays, vs risking a Kelvin Bryant type situation by running our prized rookie to seal up our loss. TWO WEEKS in a row. (0:26 - 4th) Z.Gonzalez kicks 65 yards from ARZ 35 to end zone, Touchback. 1st & 10 at WSH 25 (0:26 - 4th) (Shotgun) A.Gibson up the middle to WAS 26 for 1 yard (D.Kennard). I think it's safe to short us since there are no garbage time scores to ever worry about.
  17. Is conceding some sort of respect code to the opposition head coach? I question the thinking to not use those timeouts down just 7, with a QB that NEEDS those high pressure end of game experience points. Tapping out with a 1-1 record and not even trying down 14 with 3 timeouts and the ball. Maybe the onside rule changes have changed RR, but didn't we see just last week an onside succeed and lead to a win? I am trying to find solace in it by hoping he is tanking.
  18. Let me know the next time you see an NFL coach concede like that. And let me know when you see it 2 weeks in a row. With a QB whose game is suffering for more experience. And then say after the game you just want him to get out there and learn.
  19. Tapping out when 1-0 and then when 1-1 is very disturbing and demoralizing as he tries to win over players assistants fans and owner. It's rare to see an NFL coach concede but I remember Shanahan doing it one time and I presumed he was trying to get fired. I seem to remember it other times and also in a playoff game or 2 over the decades. No confidence in your players, will quickly lead to no confidence in coaches. Again maybe its a motivation technique, or.... he's tanking for the #1 overall heh.
  20. RR "go out and play football" Why did he take the football out of his hands? It was the perfect time to practice our 2 minute vs prevent, pad stats, build a little confidence back... let him gain the experience he obviously lacks in spades. Or, you know, win. Nope I will throw in the towel after an offside. Lets see how RR works this throwing in the towel bit. It could be a sad ass team building exercise of sorts.
  21. No timeouts taken calling a ****ing draw down 2 scores.. I guess RR wanted to show no faith in Haskins... can't say the entire team as the D did reasonable... less the Kerrigan thing.
  22. Opening with the draw to confirm giving up so ****ing lame wtf
