  1. Is conceding some sort of respect code to the opposition head coach? I question the thinking to not use those timeouts down just 7, with a QB that NEEDS those high pressure end of game experience points. Tapping out with a 1-1 record and not even trying down 14 with 3 timeouts and the ball. Maybe the onside rule changes have changed RR, but didn't we see just last week an onside succeed and lead to a win? I am trying to find solace in it by hoping he is tanking.
  2. Let me know the next time you see an NFL coach concede like that. And let me know when you see it 2 weeks in a row. With a QB whose game is suffering for more experience. And then say after the game you just want him to get out there and learn.
  3. Tapping out when 1-0 and then when 1-1 is very disturbing and demoralizing as he tries to win over players assistants fans and owner. It's rare to see an NFL coach concede but I remember Shanahan doing it one time and I presumed he was trying to get fired. I seem to remember it other times and also in a playoff game or 2 over the decades. No confidence in your players, will quickly lead to no confidence in coaches. Again maybe its a motivation technique, or.... he's tanking for the #1 overall heh.
  4. RR "go out and play football" Why did he take the football out of his hands? It was the perfect time to practice our 2 minute vs prevent, pad stats, build a little confidence back... let him gain the experience he obviously lacks in spades. Or, you know, win. Nope I will throw in the towel after an offside. Lets see how RR works this throwing in the towel bit. It could be a sad ass team building exercise of sorts.
  5. No timeouts taken calling a ****ing draw down 2 scores.. I guess RR wanted to show no faith in Haskins... can't say the entire team as the D did reasonable... less the Kerrigan thing.
  6. Opening with the draw to confirm giving up so ****ing lame wtf
  7. Yeah i thought it finally went away with the failed 3-4 experiment.
  8. I said i wanted them to blitz... oops. But not necessarily with a lead.
  9. True dat. And 40 years ago they would show teams should have always gone for it on 4th and 1, but they never did. IIRC it was Gibbs that starting breaking the ice there.
  10. I bet 40 years from now advanced stats will suddenly show teams should almost always go for 2.
  11. I want to see JDR dial up the blitz and go for some sack turnovers. Sure we can generate pressure from 4 but it doesn't really matter if our offense is turning it over and not scoring.
  12. No. Our best RB is a WR. Our best TE is a QB. We have issues all over the place. Turbo Terry and little else.
  13. QBs weaseling their way out of sacks by tossing the ball out of bounds steals sacks dammit glad they called grounding there
  14. Looks like we scrapped hurry up and are back to an inefficient Haskins.
  15. lets use those defensive timeouts to get the ball back with time
