  1. which is why I thought national harbor was better because of MGM. I didn't think a Stadium with shopping was enough, you need that big entertainment piece and a Casino would definitely give you that presence!!!
  2. While I understand that you believe the best place is Dulles, if you could build anywhere in the DMV that would attract the most people, not the richest people, it would not be in Dulles. The population of PG County alone is twice the size of Loudoun County. I could almost guarantee that if the Stadium was in DC or National Harbor you would have more people attending that location for more than football. If you're in the entertainment business than you want to be as centrally located as possible. Let's just say he created this big sportsplex in Dulles and he has more fans in the stadium. Do you believe that after those 8 games the business, shopping and entertainment would generate more revenue than if it was located on the Beltway? I sure don't believe that. People keep comparing this to Dallas, first of all there was never a time that people didn't travel outside of Dallas to get to the games and location. While Loudoun County is a popular business location, it's entertainment value would never equal that of being on the Beltway. What could they build that would make someone travel an extra 45min that is not already on the Beltway. You want your entertainment venues to be where the most population is. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that having it in Virginia is a bad thing. If you had the land, Alexandria and Arlington would be great locations on the water. This would be the game changer!!! If you're able to build an entertainment piece like a Casino then I can understand moving to Loudoun County. You need something else to generate attendance outside of football.
  3. In your assessment you believe there are more people that will become (whatever our name is going to be fans) because of What? If the product on the field doesn't change you really believe your gaining fans???? And this mindset of it's ok to lose majority of your currently paying fans is a good business practice? How many people that currently go to FedEx are from Va or MD? Out of the 20,000 fans that go to the games about 60% are from MD. Most people from Virginia aren't driving to see this current product. I think either a location near National Harbor or Tysons would be a great location, for all of the fans.
  4. I didn't say from Downtown DC, I stated it is 78 miles from Southern Maryland to Loudon County not Dulles. I stated that most of the fanbase from the Metro DC Area are moving to Md. Loudon County is the fastest growing area in the DMV, but that is a majority of people relocating to this area from other cities, not the Metro DC Area. Working in the government I see a lot of people who are moving from other cities to Loudon County because of an influx of business on the 267 toll road. I just don't believe that moving that far away is a good thing by eliminating your fanbase in MD which is close to 50%. I'm not saying don't move to Virginia it's just that is far for a big part of your fanbase. Especially when you consider that you are competing with another franchise for fans. FedEx is 63 miles away from Loudoun County. It would be the furthest a stadium has been built away from the previous stadium in the history of the NFL. Texas Stadium was only 15 miles away from AT&T. Candlestick Park was 35 miles away from Levi Stadium.
  5. Technically you are correct!!! West Virginia is a part of the Washington Area as well, should we build there? As far as commuting, I know people that commute from West Virginia, Pennsylvania everyday to the Pentagon, There are a lot of people from Laurel and Columbia that commute to DC everyday and Howard County is not a part of the Washington Area. There is no train service to Southern MD. so are they not a part of the Washington Area cause they do not have a train service? I might be biased because I grew up in N.W. DC and I see majority of the fans relocating from DC to MD. The population of MD in the Washington Area is equal to the Population in Virginia, both about 3 million so to just eliminate the MD fans would be foolish when those were the majority of your fanbase to begin with. Just for reference the Stadium would be 78 miles away from someone that lives in Southern MD.
  6. Having a Stadium outside of the area is ok if it's not another team close to your market. Loudon County is 45 miles from DC and further away than Baltimore (35 miles). Loudon County is not in the Washington (DMV) Area. Also, out of the 15000 fans that still show up to FedEx about 50-75% are still from MD. I'm not saying Virginia is out, just a bad idea to go that far away.
  7. Disagree, I see a bigger fanbase growing inside of the beltway in Virginia, MD and DC. There are more people moving into the city as well as I just don't see that many fans that far in NoVA packing a stadium, Landover was a dump from the beginning because there was nothing around it. If you were to drop that stadium near National Harbor not only will you get fans from all over the DMV, but it is a popular location with MGM and other attractions that people would just want to be at the stadium. I'm originally from DC and I just don't see the association that far away to the DMV. It would be the Virginia Football Team. That is too far to associate with Washington. It at least needs to be on the beltway or inside of the beltway.
  8. Every New Stadium built is withiin 10 miles or in the downtown area of their fanbase, except for Dallas (AT&T is 20 miles away) and SF (Levi Stadium is 42 miles away), so 30 miles is far when comparing them to other NFL franchises. Dallas and SF both are further away from their downtown area but don't have another team near them that can take away fans ie like the Ravens. If you build a stadium that far from PG County and other surrounding MD Counties you would alienate that part of the fanbase. You would want to build a stadium that is centrally located for the DMV not just Virginia or DC. In theory it might take someone 30-45 minutes from DC to get to Dulles, but it would take 1hr -1.5 hrs from Laurel or Bowie to get to that same location.
  9. They all need to win 3 games if we win 2. Just don't see it. They cannot be tied with us because of Conf Rec. I see SF winning, but don't see the others winning 3 out of 4
  10. How is it if we go 2-2 it's only 28%? If everyone goes 2-2 below us we still get in because of conf record. Only way is if there is only a 2 way tie with NO (Won H2H, but worse conf record) or PHI in which we lose to PHI twice and then beat DAL and NYG. So, which 2 teams looks like their going to be 3-1? 49ers 7-6 ATL, TEN, HOU, LAR PHI 6-7 WAS, NYG, WAS DAL MIN 6-7 CHI, LAR, GB, CHI ATL 6-7 SF, DET, BUF, NO NO 6-7 TB, MIA, CAR, ATL SEA 5-8 LAR, CHI, DET, ARZ CAR 5-8 BUF, TB, NO, TB Think if we go 2-2 split with PHI and beat NYG we have a good shot at getting in.
  11. This was the jinx thread, can we delete it now🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
  12. From my understanding he got hurt after we signed him in OTAs. Also just like Fitzpatrick they decided not to have surgery and thought it would heal up by now. Seems like a bad judgement call by our training staff on both players.
  13. Is it me or is this training staff another💩show? Reading that Fitzpatrick is done for the year, because they didn't want to have surgery and thought it would progress better with therapy. Hmmm isn't that the same thing we are doing with Curtis Samuels and his hamstring, What we did with Gibson! Isn't this a new training and medical staff that was bought in? Same stuff different day!
  14. I like TH, but there are a lot of deficiency's in his game. He cannot make every throw. He lacks the arm talent to get the ball there on out routes. He throws with great anticipation, but little velocity. Don't know if this is fixable, which will limit us down the road when more teams get more tape of him.
  15. Would you trade Chase Young and a first for any of the Rookie QBs playing this year? No of them look that good
  16. It's not the players or coaches, until we leave MD and Snyder's sells we'll lose. Karma is a you know what and he will never deserve to have a winning organization. Every player coach always seems to do better when they leave this organization.
  17. Is it me or does Hopkins always miss from the right hash, seems like he prefers the left hash
  18. We only played 47 of the 80 players and that is including the 3 special teams players!!! Knowing that, I really could have went out and had a few drinks instead of staying home to watch that BS!!!
  19. It was more than that, seen some 2 stringers not playing as well
  20. We've evaluated Way Already Many Times,. HE'S ON THE TEAM!!! Can we try to evaluate someone else with a first down or TD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
