  1. It's for a quarter billion dollars, isn't it? I know it's relative, but I feel like this is still pretty significant.
  2. Did McCain or McK get a June 1st designation? Team only gets 2. Roullier we know was post June.1 desgination.. If they want to push some money to next year for Norwell I think they have to wait until actual June. But again IDK if they used a June 1 for the other guys.
  3. I could believe a watered down version that says things to confirm items that seem to be fairly clear bs he's done or ignored while owner. The things that would add hurdles or get locked in a closet are more what I meant. Unfortunately, I just don't see it being anything too satisfying. I would love to be wrong.
  4. As I said, it'll be buried to the world. I do think the owners were a bit pissed Roger did burying of the BW report, without any knowledge due to some mess that followed. In full "cover your ass" mode, I think the owners want to know all things that Dan has done and/or can cause legal trouble for the league. I wouldn't be surprised if the league is extra cautious in the paperwork they approve that involves Snyder or at least explain why there might be multiple hurdles to clear.
  5. I'm sure there is plenty from the MJW ongoing report that will be buried to the world, but the owners have that info. Honestly, I feel like there could be lots of things they want to lock down, to truly be rid of this cancer once he sells.
  6. As I guy that simply doesn't enjoy watching basketball, I'm a big whatever there. Haha. Glad you're enjoying it.
  7. I see it right now as a sign he is a guy capable of building teams into something. I don't care about the Devils or Sixers, but their success gives me a level of hope. I don't root for them in the way I'd root for the Commandsrs, but internally I still feel like I'm hoping the better they do, the more likely we can do the same with him. I could me mistaken, but I think that's as far as most people are getting behind the other teams.
  8. I feel like Sadiq Charles was a dropping OT in a year we kept saying we needed LT and he can't seem to lock any position down. While there are guys that develop, there are guys that are higher rated and drop for a good reason.
  9. We haven't gotten rid of the Kuntz in the owners box yet, so it's to soon.
  10. I don't expect any rocking the boat from new owners this summer. A slow start and a new gm could change that for trade deadline. People talk of sixers and devils tanking under Harris ownership and developing new paths. I could see that employed with another season that starts poorly. Edit: this probably doesn't belong here since it would be about 2024 picks and things that haven't happened. So I'll leave it be otherwise.
  11. Since I don't know these guys like many, I think my disappointment is more based on only having 2 picks and waiting another 40 still. I get it's the 2nd, and 2 is normal, but boo. Haha
  12. That's basically what I'm saying. There is talent there and there should be hope he get get more out of this group. I also understand it can get stronger on the side as well.
  13. Part of me wonders if they think EB can just get more out of this offense.
  14. Fair, but a guy that wants to get drafted should say that. We've had players say that and have set backs. For now I'd consider it on track, but his football shape will be in question at least to me. It's a 2nd round rookie QB. Even with full health, ready to step into the NFL spotlight isn't an easy thing to be fully ready. Reps will likely be lost as he eases back in. Guess we'll see.
  15. It seemed we were dead set on OT/CB in the first. If we go 2 rounds and give 0 support to Howell/Brissett and draft the 3rd guy in the room, it would seem like a poor use of resources. Add to it the new owner/limbo it's clearly a poor choice. *I look forward to your video*
  16. He had an injury, but I believe the expectation is he'll be back around week 1. How ready he'll be is probably debatable.
  17. That sounds fascinating and painful. If we do draft Hooker, I expect a literal video.
  18. So this is how I see things: Draft talk was there was about 12-15 guys that separated as higher level. If the next ~20 we're about similar ratings to many teams, then there isn't value into trading up (and it doesn't seem like it was on the table). It seems like there was some injury (and maybe heart in the game) concerns with Gonzo. Their other desire at OT was picked fairly pretty heavy to that point. At 16 they were going to take one of the similarly rated guys. That guy would then have valuations from 16 to 2nd round. Then teams picking 20 spots later (or 14 as the Eagles did) will get a similarly rated player and get extra points for value since it's 14 or more picks later. From a value stand point, it feel like the Commanders were at a pick location that simply was unlikely to be a slam dunk. At least based on value. So I get the negative vibes, but had we reached on O-line, there would be similar reach vibes. If we went DE there would be plenty of folks ****ing about resources used on the DL. Such is life picking at 16 in this draft. I think the player is solid and I hope that the weight concerns get eliminated with his 185 target weight. I like that his mind/instincts seem to be natural, as it's among things I don't think are easily taught. The talk about how he'll take on Derrick Henry are silly. Derrick Henry vs any CB is a losing proposition. Going against AJ Brown? Why would we align that way and have St. Juste on Smith (now when that happens we can and should give grief to the D coaches). I'll also admit with the ownership sale, I didn't pay near any attention to the draft thread this year that I normally do. The enjoyment for this team just wasn't there. I'm trying to come around, but I still need the paper signed.
