  1. That’s a great point Joe Buck. It doesn’t matter if we go 0-2 as it’s a 17 game season so all those stats about 0-2 and not making the playoffs goes out the window. Whew
  2. Wow, can’t imagine the numbers Mahomes, Brady and Rodgers are going to put up on this soft zone
  3. Agreed. However, your reference to this thread comes up every year and I have been on here a while, just to me as I cannot speak for everybody, feels different. A lot of things can play into that feeling but I think even before the name change, activity on the board had been dying off and we all can see what the situation is in the stadium. To me, it just feels different, apathetic, almost accepting more than angry.
  4. Was not at the game but I guess to be more specific, harassed by Charger Fans? Harassed over Redskins gear? That I cannot imagine. I would welcome harassment from opposing fans instead of the pity we have been getting. I feel like other teams don't even think us worthy enough to mock anymore.
  5. Yeah, but this year it feels different. Apathy is a very hard thing to overcome.
  6. Here's the thing, I think attendance will be better Thursday, overall, but it will be the Meadowlands South as the Giants fans will take the train south and gobble up cheap tickets. So, yes, "our" WFT attendance will be worse but I think Dan's overall attendance, the only number he might care about, will be better. Benefit of having two division foes along I-95.
  7. Gave up my season tickets in the spring of 2012. Attending a game at FedEx was an absolute chore back then and I can't imagine it has improved in the last 10 years. Me and my friends joke and call FedEx a toilet and after yesterday's fan experience, it appears it really might be. We are Oakland East. Older stadiums like Arrowhead seem to be able to keep things up to date and keep the fans coming even before Mahomes but their fanbase is likely less jaded than ours. Yes, winning can and will likely cure the ills but if that doesn't happen soon, you will likely see numbers dwindle until a new stadium in 2027.
  8. No thanks. I think we got the best out of him plus the off the field issues, (armed robbery charge) not worth the headache.
  9. Back to regularly scheduled programming...I didn't click but still have the urge to pull a hook out of my mouth. Looking forward to tonight! Might do some wings to celebrate the return of some football.
  10. Whoa, not good news for his legal case then...no way that team lets him go for nothing without knowing something.
  11. Thanks for posting the bit about Samuel. The Junks this morning were making it sound like he was done for the year on my way into work.
  12. Loved Coy Bacon, between him and Hanburger, was always hungry watching the Pardee Redskins. Joe Lavender was another of my favorites from that era.
  13. Yeah, the sad thing is I actually saw Brennan play at the HOF game in Canton. Just getting old and getting my Colts mixed up. Maybe too much Colt 45 when I was younger. Sad, way too young.
  14. Man, will always remember the MNF win over Dallas. He did give us some memories. Oh wait, I am thinking Colt McCoy.
  15. I am so rooting for this guy after reading the articles.
  16. I love this post and trip down memory lane but to point out, Gibbs' won Super Bowls with JAGs, we and Washington were just the beneficiary.
  17. Poor guy, went from playing in that stadium to FedEx Field. ODU did it right.
  18. Okay, ready to have rotten fruit thrown at me, now is the time to switch to the matte finish helmets. Especially if this is actual color...and I hope it is.
