For the record, I'm not one of those nut-bags that think this is real or that my life hinges on these characters. I like to sit and watch on Monday and Tuesday for pure entertainment and laughs. In the long run, it doesn't really matter to me. This is not serious stuff for me, but I don't mind discussing it because it's fun.

Exactly. I've been seeing a lot of people in here putting the cart before the horse. declaring the one seed or 60 wins, blah, blah, blah. Fact is, let's take baby steps. We got to 49 wins last year, the most since 1977-78. My goal is 50+ wins and at least the #3 seed. Then we can talk about the next goal, which is to get past the 2nd round. I'm banking those 3 losses (Suns, Lakers and Mavs) away for future chastising if we don't make it to 50 wins. We should be 11-2 right now or at least 10-3 (I could concede a dud loss, but not 3).

Yes on Lesnar. Waste of time in my opinion. They got to learn to develop new talent then. I mean fans love wrestling. They moved on from Hogan/Flair/Warrior to Austin/Rock/HHH. They will move on to the new guys. There are some good characters, but they need to develop them. Kane has been fighting again. Big Show needs to retire. He can barely move.

Anyone else tired of the WWE rolling out the has beens and senior citizens for pay per views? Shane and Kurt Angle will wrestle at Survivor Series. Now Triple H will wrestle. Retire already. You had your time. Let the real wrestlers wrestle.

T2- Trainspotting Not bad for a sequel after 19 years. Just picked up right where it left off and even left off with the possibility to do a third one if they chose.

Yeah, I see your point, but John is only 27. If he was closer to 30, I might be on that ship. Now of course, he WILL be close to 30 in 2 years, but I just don't see either Beal, Otto or both being able to carry the franchise in his absence. I think if we're dealing Wall in a couple of years, things DID go bad and we're back to square one.

Wall is the best player on this team hands down. You don't trade the franchise. You deal Beal, Otto and anyone else and add back to him.

Second game in a row that the BB game wasn't televised in my area. Weird that the BIG 10 Network didn't show either game. Looked like a beat down, which is expected in these early games. Butler is up next. Won't be easy. FB team looks physically and mentally cooked. Hopefully next year will finally show some improvement. We have some winnable crossover games against the west next year.

Safe to say this game is over. Our 4 year record against Big 10 teams is 10-21. Will be 10-23 after the season. Not good. We need to turn this around.

AS Game is a popularity contest and too many times I've seen our guys omitted because we usually suck. But Wall will make it and I think Beal will make it. It would be great to see Otto make it, but somehow I can't see them putting 3 Wizards in. Only way Otto gets in, is if he gets his PPG. up over 20 by the ASB. He's close.
