  1. Mine were so far gone. Desert dust does a number on them. It's a bad development the way they do the headlights now. Used to be simple and cheap to swap them out. Looked into the LEDs. Adding new ballasts and all turned me off to the idea.
  2. Replaced the headlight assembly on my truck. The old ones were foggier than my mind this morning when I woke up. Minimal damage, one plastic tab. It was just at the cusp of my mechanical ability. Hard to figure how they made it so hard, had to take the grill off and do a bolt blind above the inside of the wheel wells. Proud of myself 😎.
  3. Saw them with G&R with the Stones headlining in LA in 89. Show where Axel spouted off about gays and blacks and stuff, the entire coliseum booed him. Mick came out and said, we're gonna play and not talk. Living Colour was very good. My cool bro story for the day.
  4. It's really lovely when there are numerous small debits that would go through but they run the big one first so they can add the fee to all of them. It's been thirty years since I had that sort of trouble but it still makes my blood boil.
  5. That's funny, I get the one where millennials whine about boomers. Gets old. NPI. Damn algorithm thinks I'm older than I am apparently.
  6. I think I remember you fish, I'm enjoying the fishing sub. Still figuring out the place in some respects.
  7. Dukakis was first vote. Bump on a log had more personality . Then I got to vote for slick Willy. That made up for that.
  8. I've actually started to appreciate Reddit some after joining during the down days. The Commander sub isn't all that, but there are all kinds of neat topics where people don't argue or snipe...much.
  9. Did anyone from here go and **** all over their page this way?
  10. Their economy isn't in good shape. They're bleeding badly over real estate. Unemployment is high. Manufacturing for trade has to be something that would be very painful for them to give up. If it makes them think twice, along with all the other reasons to think twice, about acting belligerently that's good.
  11. Doesn't making China dependent on that sweet, sweet moola that we provide (and our dependence on stuff) go at least some of the way towards preventing altercations?
  12. Elli in her hoodie, sunning herself and trying to ignore the paparazzi.
