    So with Phidarian Mathis apparently getting a bad injury (didn't look good) and Daron Payne looking like an absolute beast, we now must sign him, yes?

    I tend to agree, corner seems to have gone from strength or at least solid to glaring weakness seemingly overnight. If we have an injury there we're in trouble. Next year feels like first round corner second round linebacker.

    I would think the coaching staff would play the starters a bit longer this year to improve chemisty between Qb and Wr and help get Wentz comfortable. Plenty of teams did just that last year and I hope Ron will give ‘em more work this preseason. Starting the season off slow feels like a correlation to not enough preseason game time because we’re scared of injuries. Go for it, we’ve got depth.

    That’s funny, I was actually thinking that this morning. He’s a freak and with us not resigning Payne that wouldn’t be a bad idea. People would obviously lose their minds but I’d like it.

    Joe Gibbs was a great coach both times in DC and is an even better businessman and team owner; evidence by one of the most dominant and forward thinking race teams in motorsports. Any advice he can give Ron or Dan for that matter is invaluable and should be taken by an inept franchise such as our whatchamacallems....

    I think we may be overplaying our hand with the oline here. It was a strength last year but not sure you can remove the interior and expect it to remain a strength. Plus Roullier is coming off an ACL. He may never be the same.

    But a solid interior rush backup to give Payne and Allen a rest. Not sure why we'd cut him. Maybe they like the guys behind him more. But with multiple needs on defense not sure why we'd cut that great depth.

    Whoa, that article reported we cut Matt Ionnidis and Erick Flowers. That's an interesting decision considering letting Tim Settle go and not spending big for Scherrf with limited draft capital.

    Part of the problem is we mismanaged our first round picks drafting 4 dlineman with 1st round picks and a guard that just left. 1st and 2nd round picks are supposed to be spread out on the different levels of your team e.g. A dlineman, a corner back, linebacker, an olineman a receiver, etc... not 5 lineman and then bust on all second round picks for 5 years... Bruce "damn good culture" Allen.

    Just heard the pundits on Get Up say we are expected to release Landon Collins… bitter sweet considering we finally figured out how to use him and how good he was playing hybrid. But oh well

    I’d love to sign Bobby Wagner and restructure some of our guys like Payne and McKissic. Then add another young linebacker at 11… Dan is seducing me all over over again…

    And to think I'd have been disappointed bringing in Trubisky or Mariotta. It's actually worse. Hilarious. Welp, here's to a season ending interception.
