The Wire season 1 was incredible. I couldn't get into season 2 but I should try again. I hear seasons 3 and 4 are even better.

The Americans is pretty damn cool. I've been watching it, too.

I started the Walking Dead yesterday and I'm hooked. I stayed up till about 2 am watching it. Watching it now. Mad Men is great, it's just not action packed like Walking Dead or over the top in intensity like Breaking Bad. EDIT: The cool thing about Mad Men is to see how the characters change throughout the sixties. They also do a brilliant job with the fashion, style, cars, etc.

Had to go see it in 3D. Still pretty damn good, the homoerotic undertones aside. How were those not blatantly obvious in 1986? One thing that was really nice was the sound. Saw it in a big theatre at Tysons and it sounded great. The planes, explosions, everything...awesome.

For those who aren't aware, Top Gun is in the theatre this week in imax 3d. Went and saw it last night. The film is still grainy in some parts but the sound was awesome.

I can't believe that a movie with The Rock looks somewhat decent.

Liking what Nick Young is bringing to the table. On a completely unrelated note, I really can't wait for the new Wizards uniforms next year. While the home uni is alright, the road uniform is atrocious. That blue is horrific. Nice assist from Arenas to Blatche for a dunk. And Juwan Howard is in the game. I really can't believe he's still in the league.

Damn, that sucks. I thought they were gonna get it.

Good to see McGee and Nick Young contributing this year. I've been watching off and on this year but it seems like Arenas is doing well. Maybe not the explosive scorer that he was but not a total letdown either. He's certainly had his moments.

Jason Williams still has a ridiculous handle. Always thought that guys career should have been better than it's been.

Joe Johnson just abused Al Thornton there.

I just saw that drive for the short jumper and the assists...he's ridiculous. GACOLB, I agree that he's fast with purpose. Dude looks like he's on a mission and knows exactly what to do.

I don't watch a whole lot of UFC, but I did watch last nights fight as well as the one last month with Silva...First two fights I watched in awhile. I'll be honest that I'm that guy who only wants to see the main card, I take little interest in the other fights. Although that uppercut in the welterweight? fight was ****ing incredible. Anyway, from a n00b point of view, no way Couture could have won last night. I understand the experience and technical factors and know that Couture is a great fighter...but you can't give up 13 years, 45 pounds AND 6 inches of reach. IMO, it was only a matter of time before Lesnar reached out and tagged him good on his head and then jumped on him, which is exactly what happened. I dunno who's got a good shot at beating Lesnar as I'm not a huge fan...but I'll definitely be interested to watch the next fight. And no, I won't be wearing any Affliction or Tapout crap.
