  1. I've been making buffalo wings all week. Eating wings every day is finally a dream come true.
  2. I am the average American viewer, and therefore horror illiterate. But I wouldn't call this a horror film. Suspenseful? Sure. But there's nothing that's gonna scare the **** out of you.
  3. There were some intense parts, for sure. I'm not saying it was all bad, just not all great. Totally must have missed that where she knocked herself out. At that point my attention span wasn't too great.
  4. Bird Brain. Er, Bird Box. I think it lost me in the very beginning, the first 30 minutes or so. It starts off as any other zombie type movie. That said, Sandra Bullock was really good, so was Malkovich and Trevante Rhodes, too. I thought it was solid, just nothing special. Netflix hyping the viewership numbers cause no ones gotta leave the couch to see it. If this was in theaters, I'd expect it would be a flop. I give it a C.
  5. Damon Dash is calling him out: https://www.essence.com/celebrity/dame-dash-jay-z-r-kellys-collaboration-i-never-wanted-no-part-of-that/
  6. Beyonce was damn cute in Austin Powers 3 I watched that the other night, it's on Netflix now.
  7. Do tell. Not that I am disagreeing, just curious to hear your thoughts on it. You're saying there wouldn't be room for both?
  8. Definitely knew about the peeing and Aaliyah. Speaking of someone who I think time may have forgotten, Aaliyah was great. There was a report on R. Kelly years ago, it was a 20/20 or some news magazine show on TV where a girl was talking about how R. Kelly groomed her. What she could wear (mostly not wear) how she should speak to him, all sorts of other stuff. I can't remember what show it was but I remember it was a big story for awhile then went away.
  9. I think pretty much everyone knew how far R. Kelly had gone. What's this docuseries bringing up that is new?
  10. It's interesting that R. Kelly is going down but Michael Jackson still remains the gold standard of being a creep and people still keep loving him, playing his music, etc. Clearly R. Kelly is no Michael Jackson. Where's this docuseries being played anyway?
  11. Murder Mountain on Netflix. It's more of a 6 or 7 part documentary series, but it's good. It deals with Humbolt County, California. You guys probably know it's where a lot of weed is grown. I thought it was some hippie place on a @Chew vibe but it's not. Lots of crime, murder, missing people. It shows their culture from a lot of different angles: the growers (legal and illegal), the police, townspeople and the history of how the area came to be. But the overriding story is a murder case that's famous to the area and a father's search for his missing kid. All of the represented people are interesting but that storyline is the part that hooked me the most. It's really well done.
  12. Don't say Sanka. Whew. I wanted to be my best, but couldn't. Then I had a cup of Sanka from this old creepy ****er and I'm all of a sudden operating at 100%! I used to work with this dude, he'd talk about girls he'd hook up with and sing "The best part of wakin' up...is <name redacted> in your butt!" Can't ever think about Folgers the same way.
  13. You've tried Folgers? I didn't realize you were an 80 year old man.
  14. PB, the poor mans George Carlin, everyone! https://www.amazon.com/Frostie-Cream-Ounce-Glass-Bottles/dp/B001IVULDG/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1546630340&amp;sr=8-2&amp;keywords=blue+frostie If I can't drink soda for the next two months, I'm gonna live vicariously through others.
  15. Every time I go to Mission BBQ they have it.
  16. Are you still drinking that blue liquid death? Also, been going to Orange Theory pretty regularly these past few weeks. But Monday starts their weight loss challenge, $1,250 prize. So the past two weeks I've been eating anything I've ****ing wanted to gain weight so I can lose it faster. A lot of people there have a bigger head start than me. I feel like ****, honestly. Looking forward to getting back to the keto diet and intermittent fasting.
  17. Was thinking about getting one of these https://www.nordictrack.com/exercise-bikes/s22i-studio-bike?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI16iVh6yo3wIVAeR3Ch3xrgRVEAYYAiABEgKxzvD_BwE
  18. I'm hoping you guy re-sign Harper. I think there's a good chance that you do. Boras meeting directly with Lerner for 5 hours is a good sign. Would like to see Harper become a DC sports hero in the way that Ovie did this year.
  19. Just watched Comedians of the World on NetFlix. It's 4 standup comedians and for me, they put them in descending order, each set is about 30 minutes. Neal Brennan - great performance, insightful, smart, funny Chris D'Elia - kinda dumb but not too bad. I think the best thing about Chris D'Elia is the eyebrow raise Nicole Byer - just talks about how fat she is for about 20 minutes Nick Swardson - couldn't get past the first three minutes, might be the worst I've seen in a long time
  20. Been watching a lot of Donut Media's Everything You Need To Know series: @Chew yoooooooo Grand National! WheezyWaiter is usually pretty entertaining: First We Feast's Hot Ones is a fun interview: It's Burr, NSFW language. Binge watched a lot of these lately, they're fun. These two dudes can be fun, Lost In Vegas: What are you guys watching/subscribing to?
  21. I loved Mean Gene! Haven't watched wrestling in years but I loved the interviews. Very sad to see this news. My all time favorite:
  22. Woooo got an Air Fryer for Christmas! Anyone use them?
  23. Some friend of a friend. Maybe I misunderstood her, but I don't think I did. I've been watching it, it's great. The music is great, too. But certainly not a musical. I really like the lead actress Rachel Brosnahan, Tony Shahloub is great too. Alex Borstein's character is the funniest one on the show.
