  1. Contrary to the opinion that the DC area (thus government entities) is not a Transplant location and it not being 1985 where there was no EBAY, SeatGeek, Marketplace etc… fans of opposing teams can easily access tickets fast…. And had this opinion that the Transplants argument was awful (had he done his due diligence) and totally read my response he would have seen I also said the sad state of our winning… thus combining to the 2 factors is why we see a lot of opposing fans…. Maybe read a entire post and come away with a response putting 2 things together that make it true instead of pulling just 1 response to get your opinion seen
  2. If that is going to be the factor then that pretty only allows it to be done in 4 games then, the Panthers, Falcons, Titans or Browns game…. Cause the other 5 games will be 35-50% of the other teams fans then, and truthfully the Titans game 2 years ago they represented well and I could easily see many a Browns fan when they play here…..a sad reality is the area in which we are with so many transplants and the sad state of which we’ve been as a winning team it will take some time for the stadium to be what we need it to be….
  3. 😝 thanks for making me spit up my coffee I was drinking when I read this…. How true though …lol
  4. I get it , it is only a #… but to a degree it goes a lot deeper, the expectation that a seasoned NFL (regardless of his position) is expected to just give up his # after having it for such a long time… hmm kinda like a employee having 10+ years at his employment and this new young supposedly can’t miss employee comes in and wants his office, or title or whatever it may be as to your employment… would you just simply “Give it Up”
  5. And now hearing that those Christmas Games could be on Netflix…. 💰💰 https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/could-netflix-end-up-with-one-or-both-christmas-games
  6. Sounds like the glue is already out and ready to be applied in this scenario… and I can’t agrue 1 bit that I think this is exactly what will happen too. I get what @Skinsinparadise is saying that if he pans out being a fine OG under the situation in which he was taken 3rd round, but we didn’t need a OG, we needed a LT ….. this team with so much turn over in personnel and yet I still see this make shift OL being the thorn in the side and achilles’ heel of this team in 2024
  7. Jeff Hostetler worn it as well when he played for the Redskins….and 19 is definitely a partial number in my house hold…. 19 is the # my Son has worn since he played tee ball and he’s stuck with it through out his baseball journey… he’s going to D3 Saint Vincent College next year and it looks like he won’t be getting it since a current Jr has it… not since Joe Montana with the Chiefs do I remember a #19… oh Scott Mitchell for Detroit was too
  8. @mistertim & @redskinss I get you don’t understand players picking #’s or being loyal to them but to many a # represents a lot more then just that… for some it becomes their identity on the field…. Listen growing up in Cal Ripken’ day the #8 was identified with him…. Also growing up the #81 & #28 for me represented more then my 2 favorite players….when I saw those #’s I knew who they were… after all isn’t the sole reason for wearing a # for any athlete is to be able to IDENTIFY them? Of course you can say way back when the Yankees handed out #’s in conjunction with their batting lineup… thus Ruth being 3 and Mantle 4 and Joe DiMaggio 5 etc…. Its easy for us everyday ppl on a board to think that #’s are meaningless and who really cares, but don’t short sight the athlete who maybe for the majority of their life’s playing that sport that a # is meaningless to him… maybe he has a Parent or loved 1 who passed away in their youth and they wear that # for honor them in a way
  9. I guess you never played sports and had success if so… a number is a lot too many, maybe not you but you’re only 1 man in the midst of a lot who value a number
  10. Wow not surprising we are the near the very bottom of that list only out doing the Vikings but my goodness I can’t believe the high $ spent on the Bucs and the Cardinals… that is even more surprising imho….
  11. Here’s my Mock, just did the Weeks, not a PrimeTime slot, or times etc… Week 1: Chicago Week 2: @Philadelphia Week 3: Pittsburgh Week 4: @Baltimore Week 5: Tennessee Week 6: @Cincy Week 7: Dallas Week 8: @NYGiants Week 9: Atlanta Week 10: (BYE WEEK) Week 11: @Arizona Week 12: Cleveland Week 13: @Dallas Week 14: Philadelphia Week 15: @New Orleans Week 16: Carolina Week 17: @Tampa Bay Week 18: NY Giants
  12. It’s just a opinion, it’s not fact… i just personally think Fields wasn’t given a full hand, 2 HC and 3 OC in his 3 seasons. At this time of their careers I think Fields gives the Steelers the best outcome at QB.
  13. New Stadium adjacent to the current site then? I think this is where it will ends up but that would make for a cluster parking situation for years during the construction
  14. Totally agree and share the same sentiments… to be honest I could easily see Fields taking the reins as soon as week 3-4… Arthur Smith the new OC has to be counting the time till then imho…. I actually think with their additions in FA and the draft they could content with the Ravens easily for the Division… but the AFC North is the best in the NFL I think…
  15. 6-11 or 7-10 with many of those wins in the latter part of the season, I think Daniels should start from the beginning because he’s so much better then Mariota but I don’t think he does till around the 4th-5th week of the season. I think once he gets his feet under him the offense will thrive and I could easily see us running off several wins at the end of the season (despite not knowing till next week sometime when the schedule is released) but despite the record being a losing record I this this team is/will be in every game as I think this defense will be intense and hold a lot of teams under wraps …..
  16. All things equal I totally agree, but I think Fields at some point of the season will become the starter in Pittsburgh as I think he is head and shoulders better at this point of their careers then Russell Wilson, and he will do fine and have his choice of options, 1 being a return to the Steelers as the starter
  17. That video was excellent, and let’s be honest many of us (including myself) being in my early 50’s now and growing up in the 80’s and 90’s and the glory days of this great franchise are more then likely the only reason we are still fans of this team… had those days growing up not have happened I’m sure by now growing up outside of Baltimore and still working in Bmore City I would have jumped ship and been a Ravens fan … we need that type of franchise again and fan base for sure
  18. I don’t know about that but let’s just say even under Harris our ticket prices are really cheap compared to other teams. My 2 tickets in 414 are only $399ea while a good friend and co-worker of mine owns Ravens PSL and he sits in 513 identical to my seats between the goal posts but a much higher row then my seats and his are $905ea…. I don’t think ticket prices could get much lower then what they are now at Commanders Field/Stadium (formerly FedEx Field) I think that’s another reason for so many Eagles, Cowboys etc fans week in and week out
  19. Newton isn’t and won’t be Sapp either so after that you lost me… it will take time for him to be even as good as Allen or Payne Spackle for the defects and blemishes in the Sheetrock after you hang it Duh?
  20. After further consideration I think we should host the Bears the last game of the season, cold, windy, and who knows what else weather wise and neither team probably playing for a playoff spot and if they stay healthy I’m sure both Williams and Daniels by that point will be firmly rooted as their respected #1 QB, so end the season and both of their rookie seasons against each other… the finish of the #1 and #2 rookie campaigns….
