For me it’s just stay on the field, when he’s in the field he can create nightmares… football wise he has nothing to prove, it’s all injury related for him imho

I think several more moves around the league happen after 4… heard yesterday that if the Jags would sign Ridley before 4:00 today they were on the hook to Atlanta for a 2nd round pick… but if they waited till today at 4 it was a 3rd round pick…so even though the Pats have been rumored to really want him, he has supposedly stated his wanting to stay in Jacksonville so why not wait till after 4 and give back to Atlanta a 3rd instead of a 2nd… I think a lot of deals are structured this way and wouldn’t be surprised to see more movement…

While I’d love Aiyuk and Higgins I think the picks that would be needed to give up are too much to get either of them, Ridley’s price would probably be to high and that leaves Hollywood Brown, I think a reunion w/Kliff would be a nice addition and if he stays healthy would definitely fill the Samuel loss and give the deep threat we would need along with opening up the middle for Terry & Dotson.

He and Lane Johnson easily run neck and neck for that honor

Totally agree 👍… what amazes me more then anything is with all the failures from last season, poor poor OL play, the lack of absolutely NO Running game, and a OC who called the worse offensive play calling game in and game out and Howell still managed to put up some ok to decent numbers. Yet people are done with him and some even say he’s done as a starter in the NFL but believe that any of these 3 top tier QB’s Williams, Maye, Daniels will be better, I would have loved to watch any of these 3 put into that fire, I can only imagine what would have been said about them. I don’t wanna see Howell traded, and for those who think we can get a 3rd or 4th for him, why trade him then? Normally teams over value their players whereas the rest of the NFL under values them, but if other teams think Sam Howell is worth a 3rd or even 4th then obviously we are under valuing Howell and might not be seeing something that other teams do see in him. someone stated this the other day on here, and I’m on paper and in agreement with whomever it was that said, I bet the numbers wouldn’t be much different if you switched Purdy and Howell, amazing what coaching and a really good offensive mind can do for a QB.

The 8:00+ min video I watched of him on YouTube he looked polished and good, but you’re 100% right, not a very good time frame knowing that GM, HC, etc would be in the war room with FA going on….

Queen will be like so many of the other Ravens LB’s never to be heard from again.. Bart Scott, Adaulis Thomas, Jaime Sharper, Jarrett Johnson, Ed Hartwell, just to name a few… a good no sign by Peters and Co. imho money wise

And for me he has to be healthy and play in more then 11 games which for him has been hard to do the last several seasons.

Agreed, not really liking this signing at all, for that I would have just resigned Brissett for 8m for 1 yr as the Pats did and who I actually think is far better then Marcus Mariota….

I Definitely agree 👍🏻…. Specially the part where you stated it’s not hard at all to defend or scheme a defensive game plan when you know he’s dropping back 40+ times a game… with little to no threat at the run game and let’s not forget we didn’t have 1 100yd rusher last season in 17 games (mind blowing) it’s not that we couldn’t have imho it’s that the game calling was that bad

who’s that remind us of to a degree? Not since the days London Fletcher comes to mind.. the heart and soul aspect of this team has been a huge void for many many a year… we need a guy like this, brings his teammates up emotionally

Me too… me too very excited… I was bashed earlier on this thread abkut signing Patrick Queen (who we still might sign who knows, but I’ll stand by my assessment of Queen, he wasn’t the player we saw this past season till Smith got there and it was his walk season) this signing imho is definitely more $ friendly and imho for a guy who is better then Queen and is a stand alone guy where I don’t think Patrick Queen is… I love this signing right here…. Players don’t have to be the big names guys… players like Luvu are simply just players….

The high energy guy this defense needs… brings it on every down too… exactly what this team needs… intensity, drive and also a very good football player who’s noise is always around the ball… a very under the radar signing that will/should pay dividends… Whitt & Quinn are fired up I bet
