Yeah a reach for a position that pretty much was/is your the strongest position going into the draft… this team wasn’t/isn’t in the best player available when clearly the need was OT and remember the Ravens drafted a good 1 w/the 63 pick… hmm that guy was needed over a DT imho

Still can’t get over allowing a perennial NFC and NFL powerhouse yet alone a Division rival move up 10 spots and grab a stud in DeJean who regardless of his being white and many of the nay sayers saying he’ll move back to safety is a very good player, in fact would have been a great draft pick for us, also the funny thing is if in any of our past drafts this was done ppl would be revolting… but the love for AP is blinding I guess, I think the jury is still out…. And the DT Newton was a huge reach with the 2nd round pick when clearly a blind man could see we had other glaring needs at other positions ….this was kinda like a weekend warrior picking a kicker in his fantasy league in round 3 with only 8 teams in it…. Huge reach Also McCaffrey with a 3rd round pick? he was at best a late 4th or 5th and had his name not been McCaffrey the love wouldn’t be there as it is. So far the only moves I like is Daniels and Sinnott

After all these years of distrust and poorly ran FO/franchise can you blame any of us for having reservations and trust is a very hard thing to have after being mistreated the way we were as fans all those years

Yeah the only new 1 that is decent is the White helmet…. Funny all these teams promote this new uniform date stuff and come out with nothing to get all the excited about… and I get the 5280 which is what the above sea level Denver is but do they need to put that on the helmets? I have a co-worker who is a Broncos fan and for him I was actually excited to see what they came up with, but not so exciting imho

My question regarding either Daniels or Maye wouldn’t be which 1 would resign with us when that time came but more on the lines of which 1 do we think we’d want to resign give 5th yr option and attempt to work out long term deals with when that time came…. Both I think we can all agree upon is they need some work improvement in the NFL… it’s not like either of them are coming in the NFL and automatically top 5 QB’s… dont concern yourself with will they resign with us but the opposite

there’s so many ? marks thus far when it comes to the QB room we currently have now that Howell isn’t even the tip of the ice berg imho, though dealing him was wrong imho… I mean let’s start with why you let Brissett walk and then sign Marcus Mariota for pretty much what Brissett signed with the Pats for? I’m pretty sure Brissett could have run KK offensive scheme… I’m on paper saying that no matter who we draft come Thursday and it could freakin be anyone that from day 1 he starts over Marcus Mariota… Mariota is a bum.. I don’t wanna see Mariota play accept in Pre Season and/or a series in a regular season game and that’s pushing it for me… I’d rather see Jake Fromm under center then Mariota

Me too… but I think he’s way more Marcus Mariota or worse then anything remotely Fields, cause I think Fields under 2 HC’s and 3 OC’s in 3 years did a lot better under those circumstances and the lack of talent (accept last year when they got Moore) around him… As a fan I’ll support and root like no other if/when they draft Daniels and gladly eat crow if he pans out but I’m Rod Gardner 50/50 on Jayden Daniels selection at #2

And this can be a double edged sword too… while I totally agree w/character traits etc if you stick around someone or dive deep enough there is always something about us someone else might not agree with… no matter 1’s belief system I think we can all agree we are are flawed and imperfect people… playing video games into the wee hours of the night or not saying more then a simple hello to someone does not register as a character trait to me… and to be honest having a parent who is over board and says and does things also isn’t a character trait that should be labeled on the player himself…. Bad parents can have great kids and vice versa…. At the end of the day, as long as they are productive people in society don’t have legal issues etc and have good character traits and will they help make the Commanders better should be the the most important decision come Thursday night

This is a awesome analogy of the situation and 1 that more then likely has been thought of by many of us fans, but I surely hope not by our FO in AP or DG or Harris and Co. you can’t make a move worried about another team… I highly doubt when a GM trades a player (great player let’s say) that he’s worried how that player will make that team better, he’s only worried about the players he got back and how they can make them better. So, AP and Co better not be concerned with the would Maye or Daniels on the Giants make them better but be concerned with who will make us better and who under the coaching of Kingsbury and Co will be best suited for us funny thing is I highly doubt the Giants nor their fans care which 1 we take cause in their eyes which ever 1 falls to them is better then Jones and is/will be a upgrade and was meant to be… but imho it’s going to be a mute point cause I can’t see the Pats not taking the guy we don’t draft, if anything it looks like JJ McCarthy might be there for them to take

That’s just it, now all of a sudden the Texans (which are the exception and not the norm) when it comes to rookies having the success that both Stroud and the team did… and for those of us (like myself and more then likely the majority of this board remembers) everyone thought that Dan Marino when he lost to the 9ers in the SB he was going to have many chances, I love Stroud for the player he is but more importantly the things he stands up for as a Man but I also I’m not so fast to anoint him the next Mahomes or Brady after 1yr as the tag is all of a sudden being placed on him and the Texans too… all of a sudden they’re the team that will over throw the Chiefs…I think the breaks need tapped a bit

If you go back to the Adam Peters initial introduction PC a question was asked to him about his time in SF and he said despite not seeing it in W’s the team made strides (which at first were very rough) but they came through and built a perennial winner there. I can’t see him being much different here even now being the main man as far as GM is concerned. Having said this I don’t think he’s looking to go 5-12 or 6-11 etc… either. I don’t think with all the nay sayers saying that Daniels gives them the best chance early to compete that his decision comes down to that, I don’t think he’s looking for us to be the Texans where we draft a rookie and then make the playoffs after being a doormat (if it happens great, but I don’t see it being his main focus) so I don’t think the QB he chooses will be made thinking of the here and now but will be made for the future as well… I actually think spread out over the long haul that despite what many say are flaws in his game that Maye will be the choice cause by all reports he has the most upside along side his abilities… just my opinion, as I think all this Daniels talk about it being a done deal and all is just a smoke screen….

I’ve been saying this from the jump that the last 2 QB additions in Mariota & Driskel are 💩 and for all these people who think we are drafting a guy at #2 to sit behind Mariota for a season… yeah and I’m going to win the lottery I’ve never played. If that was/is the plan then why trade Howell or even better why let Brissett walk when you could have had him for pretty much the same you paid Mariota and don’t give me the Mariota runs the offense that Kingsbury employs (Mariota runs no offense the last several seasons) They aren’t drafting a guy at #2 and sitting him for a entire season w/the QB’s we have on the roster… a few games maybe not a entire season.

I’m sorry but if Driskel plays at all this season as our starter I would have to question the logic and direction of that move (and not a win and loses logic either)… I’d rather see Jake Fromm be the starter over him… and regardless of your reasoning for him to start, which ever QB they choose even while learning and raw in terms of the NFL would be a better option then him.. Say whatever you want and I know we are all in heaven and very excited with all the new coaches and the direction this franchise is heading but the 2 recent additions of Mariota and Driskel at QB are head scratchers for many ppl including myself .. be honest

The over/under on how many games before Diggs is in Stroud face crying complaining and then in Bobby Slowiks face doing the same… was this a quality move for a 2nd yr QB who is easy temptered and by all signs non emotional in a bad way…time will tell Diggs is a addition by subtraction imho

All this Daniel Jones 2.0 stuff from a fan base that the guy has been the best QB on the field when he’s been the starter and/or healthy against our Redskins/Football Team/Commanders lol 😝 wow if he’s such a bum why then is he 5-1-1 against us?

I definitely wouldn’t want to be in Peters shoes come draft night. No matter who they pick there is always going to be the back and forth questioning is he ___________ gonna become what we think he can become. I think whomever they take it will be on the basis of their abilities and the coaching and scheme of Kingsbury and Co. As a fan whoever it is I will be fired up and will have my reasons for thinking they will become the QB we’ve needed and have been looking for now for what seems to be forever, that’s just what we do as fans, I remember my excitement for Haskins, my excitement for Wentz, my excitement for Howell and already my excitement for a rookie being drafted.
