  1. This is a guy we should make a move on if healthy. We could still bring in someone else at mlb to compete. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/16/raiders-releasing-nick-kwiatkoski/
  2. Doesn’t it make you curious that no one from the organization to the new Commanders app has talked about Wentz and him coming here? Hmmm… One can only dream Yes we traded a second and third but we could get some picks back even after trading a couple first round picks. I highly doubt Payne would be involved in a trade with Ionnadis released.
  3. Ionnadis is a disappointing cut. Guy came to us as a 5th round smallish DT and really grew to become a very good player. However he did start to get hurt more often. Something to be said of Flowers to be cut from Phins after only one year and then released by us after one year back. Guards are guards and we got some young guys who can step up. I really hope we get Wagner with these moves. Guy is a true leader on defense sort of like London and we need one. He’s 32 so hopefully nothing more than a 2 year deal.
  4. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2022/03/panthers-to-sign-rb-donta-foreman Darn! Forman would have been a nice signing. Guy’s a beast and would have been our cowbell and allowed Gibson the ability to play JDs role. Cheap signing too $2mill
  5. Stats are stats. Taylor had 39 targets 36 receptions last year. Hines had 57 targets 40 receptions. And Marlon Mack had 5 targets 2catches. Thats 98 targets to running backs, an average of 6 targets per game to running backs. In comparison Austin Ekeler who pretty much played rb on all 3 downs all 17 games and had the most catches among running backs last year had 94 targets and 70 catches.
  6. Theres no way that we can get him for a late round pick. There’s already a lot of teams interested in him. I think Shenault could be a slot guy or do it all type player but in my opinion he took a step backward last year.
  7. Im with you. He was a valuable player for us last year both as a returner and receiver plus he seemed like a good locker room guy. Let’s face it though returns are not as impactful in football anymore. Kickoffs are a joke, just take the ball at the 25 and how many punt returns for tds happen anymore. All of 2 last year that’s it! Carter was forced into playing wideout but we need a rookie wideout and Brown to step up!
  8. I don’t think we pick up a safety. I would prefer to have Fuller play part time at free safety if needed and bring in a corner either thru the draft or free agency. Leave Kam at strong and hopefully Forrest steps up and be his backup.
  9. I was one of the few on here that said Deandre Carter was making the team last year. We needed a reliable returner and I believed he was our best option. Many thought Milne deserved the spot ahead of him but he was a rookie and couldn’t be trusted to be consistent. With that said, I don’t believe we should spend much money to resign Carter. We can pick up someone off the streets to return kicks, late round pick or Milne is an option. If we can get him for 2/$3mil then that would be fine but anything more would be a bad decision no matter the continuity aspect.
  10. I’m not sure why Bills want JD? They have Zack Moss as their cowbell and Devin Singletary improved big time last year and catches the ball well. They also have Matt Brieda on the roster. Maybe one of those guys become available. $4 mil for a running back is a lot. Chase Edmunds is an every down running back and he got $6mil. I love JD but not sure he’s worth that much.
  11. Gibson as a true running back still has a long way to go. A thousand yards rushing is nothing today, it’s only averaging 60 yards per game over 17 games. Antonio still needs to learn the small nuances of playing running back which hopefully will continue to improve next year. Plus he needs to learn how to hold onto the ball.
  12. What are you talking about?! Wentz throws to his running backs often. He threw a million screens while in Philly to running backs and Taylor/Hines had 100 targets with 80 catches last year combined. JD is a special player and would hate to see him go.
  13. We are somewhat limited in free agency due to the cap and because we need to reupp Terry and some of our defensive players. I still think we may sign a mlb in free agency but not in the first wave of free agency. I think we wait to see who may get cut after the draft. Middle backer will be less expensive than signing any wideout. Plus mlb is not as important a position if our line plays better and because everyone plays more nickel packages. I suppose we may draft one but I think it’s easier to find a receiver in the draft. I prefer someone with some height someone who can get the contested passes. Wentz liked throwing to Alshon and Pittman both taller receivers. Give me a Burks (6’3) or Landon (6’5) to pair w Terry (6’0) and Samuels (6’0).
  14. And Gallup tore it late in the season so he probably won’t be back till mid year at best. Cowboys lost Wilson and of course traded Cooper so who’s Dak gonna throw to other than CeeDee.
  15. The Kirk deal is 4 years $72mil with a max of $84mil for a guy who has never had a 1000 yd season and was the number one last year without Hopkins and Green for most of the season. Nice pickup Jags 💩 I could see Terry getting a $100 mil contract maybe 6 years. I think they wait to see what AJ Brown and D. Johnson get. I think that’s a mistake letting other teams set the market.
  16. Alright maybe head case is overblown but he has zero football confidence and always good for a mental breakdown. Ask any Giants fan how often he gets booed! Maybe a change in scenery will make him better but would only be willing to sign him to a rather modest deal. I would rather stick w Bates and Reyes till Logan comes back.
  17. Evan Engram is awful! Sure all the physical attributes needed at tight end but a head case and maybe the worst hands. He couldn’t catch Covid if he was in the Wuhan clinic.
  18. With our current cap situation and needing to reupp a couple key players, I doubt we are players in the first wave of FA. I think we go bargain shopping on the second wave. Remember Leno and McCain weren’t signed till after the draft when teams needed to make cuts to get under the cap. Obviously MLB is a key need but there’s no one outside of Wagner that we should break the bank. Maybe we sign a second tier mlb and bring in a rookie to compete. Just my 2 cents…
  19. When news first broke, I posted on here that we could still draft a qb at #11. There’s only one guy worth it at that spot and it’s Willis. Guy is a developmental player. Let him sit for a year or two and see how things go with Wentz. I know this might affect Wentzs psyche but who cares. He’s not a 25 year old player coming off a $100 million dollar contract. Philly completely mishandled the drafting of Hurts. Howie said they were an quarterback factory while they had huge holes elsewhere that a second round pick would fill. Plus guys like Alex Smith (Mahomes) and Jimmy G (Lance) were able to handle it, Wentz should be able to do as well. If Willis is gone, then hopefully we can trade down and get an additional third. As far as any Ertz talk cmon Cards are not gonna let him go. I would prefer a taller wideout like Alshon or Pittman who Wentz likes to throw to.
  20. No solution just complaining. Sure ideally we draft a stud qb who plays for 12 years but how many times has that happened for us or just about 28 other teams. For every Mahomes or Allen, there are a dozen or more flops. That’s why teams are always looking for a qb. Bucs and Rams won the last two with Brady and Stafford. They didn’t draft them.
  21. McDaniels already came out and said he likes Carr. I like him but another guy that would have cost us a lot more money both in years and draft capital.
