    Looked pretty full to me. I’m hoping to make it to the Iggles game in two weeks. A lot of Redskins, Football Team, and Commanders jerseys in the crowd today on TV, which is totally cool. Embrace them all and let people come around at their leisure. We have a true identity again and the pandemic is winding down. Both are factors in the increased attendance today.

    Now that I have had a few hours to digest the game, the big play potential for the offense is scary. A lot of weapons. You get the sense they have not even begun to tap into their potential yet. The defensive concerns remain, but they got it done in the end. A lot of supposed Super Bowl contenders looked pedestrian today. The season is just getting started.

    They are Commanding that Jacksonville ass! Woo hoo! Pretty much the best start we could have hoped for right now. Just play a complete game though.

    I’m not going to lie I’m pretty hyped. First season with a true identity again. Ron’s third year. I have reasonably high hopes for this season. People will adjust to all this new pretty quickly if the wining starts today.

    I have had a few tonight so forgive my blunt language, but Snyder is going nowhere unless he decides to go. Many in this fanbase would do well to stop hoping obsessively that he is ousted. Point blank, they are NOT forcing him to sell. If they were going to do so…they would have done it by now.

    I agree. Let them stay at the Fed Ex site. More convenient for me anyway.

    Ryan was a very bright spot in a mostly forgettable era of Washington football. He embodied everything you would want from your players both on and off the field. Enjoy your retirement legend.

    Sure they do if you accept the guy probably is not going to be forced out. Until I see or hear something that indicates there is real movement on making him sell the team, he is the owner. Once you accept he is the owner, the law of averages dictates we will eventually have a break through season at some point. Maybe even a stretch of great seasons. Maybe starting this season?

    Probably correct, I’m just getting tired of it all because it’s much ado about nothing. Snyder isn’t going anywhere unless he chooses to go. Like I said, an indictment and conviction on something might get him out, but nothing else will. Nothing he has been accused of rises to that level.

    Exactly For me, I don’t really care one iota what happens to Snyder. The only thing that concerns me is how many wins the Commanders can rack up this year, and how much this utterly pointless negativity creates a distraction for the product on the field….because the product on the field is all I care about when it comes to the NFL. The Snyder family can own the team for the next 100 years as long as I see another Lombardi or two hoisted in my lifetime. I believe both can happen. I came here to post in 2004 because I am a fan of the team not a fan of the owner. I think at some point the negativity is cutting off your nose to spite your face. For me, yeah as an owner he pretty much sucks…but unless he is indicted on something they aren’t forcing him out.

    At this point, they have nothing concrete on Snyder…he is not going anywhere. If it hasn’t happened by now it’s not going to happen. The NFL will not allow it to happen because it sets a very dangerous precedent for the owners. Should he be forced out I will be happy to come back and admit I’m wrong and congratulate everyone here who feels like they helped make it happen. I just don’t see it happening. Snyder will build his next stadium in Maryland at the Fed Ex site and the world will keep right on turning. I will still be a fan and support the team regardless, because I enjoy it and nobody is going to take that from me. Even Dan Snyder

    I’m noticing more and more on social media than this utterly relentless barrage of negative publicity surrounding Dan Snyder is starting to turn him into more of a sympathetic figure. I reiterate again, I’m not a fan of Snyder’s tenure as owner, and wouldn’t mind seeing him sell or even be forced out, but this “make it my mission in life” attitude of some by any means necessary is starting to garner him some unexpected support. Take that however you want, but it’s the truth. The “I don’t like Snyder either…but stop beating the dead horse” posts are increasing.

    Apparently, he wants his team to be great this year. He allowed them to practice too hard at OTAs, and that's a big no no in 2022.

    Yup, but this time done right. I like the Maryland plan for the site a lot. I like the fact the stadium may look like the Cap Centre. I have amazing memories from that building.

    Not much to say at this point other than I’m not surprised in the slightest. .24 is completely ****-faced drunk and it’s a miracle he didn’t get somebody else killed driving in that condition. Ketamine might also make you think it was a good idea to play Gascan-GO on the interstate. With that said, what’s done is done. May he Rest In Peace.

    I’ve read nothing today that indicates to me I should change my belief the next stadium will be right next to the old one. I still believe 100% the next stadium will be at the Fed Ex Field site.
