  1. Virginia ABC was deemed essential and Total Wine delivers. I can self-quarantine in perpetuity.
  2. I’ve done this prior to Coronavirus.
  3. Yea me too, I call them drugs. ****ing China beat me to it. Opposite for me. My kid likes regular cheese-itz and all i could find was white chees-itz. My kid looked at me like
  4. The Athletic is doing a VERY deep dive into the top 100 baseball players of all time. The whole thing has been a fantastic read, and as long as a particularly long novel. Like War and Peace length. The only Nat was Mad Max at 90, but i think we can all claim Walter Johnson, who comes in at number 7. Here is the intro. The remaining 6 must be Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Barry Bonds (ugh), Hank Aaron and Pete Alexander(?) Alexander gets a ? because he has to be in the top 100 but shouldn’t be in the top 10.
  5. Are you aware of Amazon? It’s like this company that, like, will send you whatever you want. By mail. It’s grrrrreat. 👍 www.amazon.com
  6. If there was ever a valid reason for violence, that’s it.
  7. They need to establish medical care facilities for people with non-virus related issues. I think I broke a bone in my wrist 3 weeks ago, but no way am I going anywhere with sick people to get it checked out.
  8. Total wine ****ed up my order. 🤬
  9. I think this is truer even than what you intended. Insider trading is generally handled by the SEC, specifically the Market Abuse office of the Division of Enforcement (where I interned during law school). The SEC can bring civil actions but not criminal cases. Cases would only get referred to the DoJ if the SEC had determined that criminal charges should be brought. In a normal situation, the fact that DoJ was involved would indicate that the SEC wanted criminal charges brought. In this case, where the person is extremely well connected, and the DoJ is corrupt, DoJ involvement probably means the fix is in.
  10. /Vodka tweet I hope this goes mega-viral and retirement homes nationwide are deluged with Titos (which isn’t great, but that’s beside the point). (Drunk nonagenarians is the point).
  11. Have been effectively quarantined since February 20 and am not doing well with it. Today around 5 we (my wife and 2 kids) said **** it lets go for a drive, we ended up on the National Mall. All of DC was tumbleweeds. There were a few people out, but it was eerily quiet for 5pm on a Saturday. We walked around for awhile, tried (and failed) to explain why they built a big stone tower for George Washington (4 year olds don’t understand how memorials, death or time works) and tried (and failed) to get a picture of our newborn, Lincoln, with Abraham Lincoln’s monument (we parked too far away and didn’t feel like walking). The excursion was a rousing success because we got takeout (And wine) from a great spanish restaurant that is practically giving it away in order to stay in business and keep their staff. #SupportLocalBusiness
  12. Well, loans through private lenders are not federal loans, so they are not covered by the forbearance. As well-documented in this thread, I exited the federal system and refinanced into a loan with a private lender (currently SoFi). Although there is absolutely nothing requiring them to make any kind of concessions, of their own accord they will let me stop paying for 2 months if I wanted to.
  13. Time to get a boy dog to even out the household PH.
  14. The only person that should be contacting you is your servicer. And probably not by phone.
  15. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.buzzfeednews.com/amphtml/sarahmimms/coronavirus-bill-ends-student-loan-payments-interest-6 All federal student debt is suspended through September 30.
  16. The dog is the best part of that picture.
  17. My dude kept me company while I grilled.
