  1. Trying to save my likes, but this page alone is making it borderline impossbile. Happy Tuesday : )
  2. Sometimes I log in just to "like" something : )
  3. It's like someone wants us to be stupid. Pretty sure the word "dinosaur" is not in the Bible, I've been looking.
  4. I gotta say, this is really an interesting point that I'm curious to see how many other people feel the same way about. So I did a quick google search to see who won championships during the two seasons Jordan was out the NBA. Hello, Houston Rockets. I wonder what this debate would look like if Jordan hadn't been out the NBA those two seasons and serious possibility of him having 8 straight championships.
  5. I gotta give it to this guy (wizard killa or not), he's about to take a team that couldn't make the playoffs to the NBA finals. I don't know if that makes him GOAT, but we're watching him do it and I have to give credit where credit is due. Edit - Feel Curry and Co. going to be too much for Lebron to do by himself, similar but different situation to last year when it was Spurs Vs Lebron
  6. As a Wizards fan, I'm just besides myself right now. Wonder how many of those punk Hawk players are going to say they should be up 2-0 right now, not the other way around now. Womp womp.
  7. Inside joke with good friend of mine (my bad): Hornets
  8. Saw on ESPN website Kobe likely isn't coming back to LakerLand after this coming season is over. Part of me hopes he isn't done done, and maybe joins Team Jordan before finally calling it quits (or his body officially calling it quits for him).
  9. Renegade7 on Nene returning to the Wizards next season: "I hope not."
  10. I was entertained, and am very proud of this team, really am : ) I, too, don't feel Randy is going anywhere now, no matter how I feel about it. I guess I can live with them adding another assistant coach who can specializes in offense, particularly what's going on in today's NBA. I brought it up to my dad not too long ago about the concern of Nene saying he wanted his minutes limited. In my eyes, he's done, and we need to address the PF position from the standpoint of being able to matchup for the Milsaps of the NBA; the only answer we had for him all series was watching him catch the flu. Wall and Beal are probably already the best backcourt in the East, and I could tell by the way they manhandled the backcourts of Toronto and Atlanta game after game. With the emergence of Porter, we really need replacements for Butler and Webster (basically guys off the bench that when Wall finds them open and hit open shots). As long as we keep up the defense and continue to dominant backcourt matchups, we're going to be a problem in the East for years to come. There's a difference between what I want and what I can live with, and I can live with addressing athleticism at PF and getting bench players that can hit open shots. Also, please keep Seraphin. He gets a lot of love, even on the national level, and a lot of times deservedly so.
  11. Those tickets probably expensive as hell, bro. I've met people that listen to the game on the radio that are bigger fans then some of the people that go to the game.
  12. Something tells me if we planned to shut him down, we would've done it by now.
  13. It's just a game, guys. Please don't ruin a good thread. Thank you.
  14. Smh, apparently we aren't allowed to have nice things. Really, the only thing I'm worried about is if Gooden, Pierce, or Gortat regress too much while we look to make sure we have competent role players off the bench (not Martel or Rasul, enough is enough). The reality is the Wall, Beal, Porter trio is going to be a force to be reckoned with and enough to attract certain veterans to come here because they like what they see. Gotta find silver lining, because it ain't fair to expect us to beat the #1 seed without our best player. I'm not sure if I'd want him out there even if he's "medically cleared" to play. Is it worth it?
  15. I feel you on Nene, and do feel he's out there to keep "going small" as a weapon, not who we are from now on. But it does feel that unless Nene is uncontested, he's not nearly as effective as he was last year in the playoffs. Atlanta barely survived us without Wall, but I feel this speaks more to the future of Nene on this team, not just this series. Having him come off the bench would be the beginning of the end, but this is the beginning of the end.
  16. Defense is what allows us to stay close even when Atlanta tries to put us away with their three-ball barrage. I did feel this was likely the most important game of the series because as much as we had and tired as Atlanta had to be, this was best chance to steal one in ATL. Keep attacking, and I am at the point of supporting Otto on whoever decides to get hot for them, whether it be Carrol or Horver (Horver I'd like to focus more on making sure he doesn't get going). So proud of this team, no fear.
  17. All this hype for this fight and he didn't do **** out there. Was more fun watching Pac try to get through, but my dad is right, Pac had to beat him, Floyd just had to not lose. Congratulations, bamma.
  18. It's obvious we're building a team capable of hitting people as hard in the mouth as possible. No complaints here.
  19. So...can we agree Atlanta is the number 1 seed for a reason and we still have to prepare for that?
  20. Stars starting to align for the Wizards. Stay humble and play your game.
  21. Section 400 - Row K - Seat 14 (First game ever in person - hope I don't jinx it : )
  22. Can we take a break on the "Fire Wittman" pitch fork parade at least until after the playoffs? But..but..but this and but..but..but that. I agree we need a coaching staff that better understands 21st Century NBA offenses in order to get over the top. Whoever that is, they better give a damn about defense the way Wittman does. I respect the cautious optimism until at least the second round (especially given our goal this season was no less then the ECF). It just makes it hard to enjoy this thread sometimes when there's the very real threat of us sweeping a Division Winner and we still have our minds made up to fire him anyway.
  23. Yes I would like a shot to me, too. didn't Grant Hill go to Duke? let it go, bro, lol
  24. Ya, I'm streaming now. Stupid nba. best thing Whitman can do is jus preach defense and get out the way. Great job so far, guys : )
