  1. Otto is too long not to be playing, he's like a fs out there sometimes. Announcers giving him credit. Glad this game is close, keep pushing
  2. I wouldn't have supported drafting Noel with that injury, this is a hindsight arugement. And like has been noted, there's no promise Randy would play Noel either.
  3. Wasn't Noel coming off a major knee injury and missed his entire rookie year? Otto will never get 30 points if we don't let him play.
  4. I remember being upset about trading Hamilton for Stackhouse, if that helps answer your question. Thought it was interesting this season when we were second best team in the east and the "loser free zone" concerning mention the redskins. My response was how many years back this thread has gone, probably same as you.All that and still here (tho I'll admit, 40 years is a long time)
  5. I thought we weren't going to talk about the Redskins in here anymore. Is this still supposed to be a loser-free thread?
  6. I feel terrible for John Wall right now. He's all heart and deserves so much better then this. I agree to give him a couple days off, we're likely going to continue to drop in the standings anyway.
  7. This offensive system is unsustainable. Even with Beal comes back and makes it passable, my fear is this will cool the hot seat Randy is in. Prior to the all-star break, we were still 1-6 vs the top 3 teams in the East. Don't fall for it, Ted.
  8. The first step to solving a problem is admitting that you have one. I like the tone Ted has taken of late, but it has to backed up with action.
  9. That's understandable. You know wha telse doesn't sit well with me? Losing by 40 points at home coming off a 9 day break and continuing to drop in the standings. If he's as professional as he claims to be, he'll understand that.
  10. Too early to formally surrender. I'd like to see Otto start at the 3 going forward when Beal gets back. Our bench three point shooting no longer looks to be a strenght (Butler, Webster, etc), so we're going to have trouble baraging our way back or putting teams away until somebody wakes up. At least we know Wall is officially a boss. I do understand a lot of the comments towads Whittman at this point, but up until recently this season I really felt this team was overacheiving top to bottom. Now it feels like we are what we are (One domnant point gaurd, some young, inexpeirenced talent, and whole lotta older/oft-injured veterans).
  11. At this point I expect the refs to be terrible, but we gotta win anyway. The Refs didn't shoot 38% for the game, we did.
  12. Coaches can only get their team as far as their players are able to take it. Its too early to write off Beal for the season.
  13. Either that or a better rim defender. Tired of the easy inside shots we keep giving up with Gortat right there (though he's great at a lot of other things).
  14. Too many turnovers, flat out. I absolutely feel we can beat them (the 20 point comeback on the road was impressive), but we won't be able to if we're beating ourselves. I'm not too pissed considering how many other teams Atlanta has done that to (give credit where credit is due). Great teams are deep, but I feel it will be easier to cut down our turnovers then it will be to add more above average players like some of the other contenders have done.
  15. I've seen the Wizards score quickly, but so can Atlanta. If this game was over, it would've been over in the first half. It's obviously not.
  16. Win the game or not, Houston is too good a team to be disrespecting with leaving a second unit our there like that. Ok, randy you didn't burn the house down, but stop playing with fire, dude, this is a west coast road trip, dude
  17. I've been screaming to get the starter back, mess around and it might be too late. Gd wittman, wtf
  18. If I was on the fence about making a move for Durant, I'm all in now. This game just proved how badly we need a player that can truely take over and close games for us. We all hope Beal and/or Wall can be that, but the top teams in the East have been underestimated. As good as we are, we need help to seperate ourselves from the pack.
  19. 22-19 on the road is way better then 22-19 at home. They haven't had a lot of road games this year to prove to me they are still as good a road team as they were last season. I'm really not sure I understand where you're getting at by posting this response.
  20. Ya, two west coast trips in Janurary coming up. First one will tell us a lot, but looking at the second one most of them look winnable, even on the road. What I really find interesting is last year we were a much better road team then home team. This year it looks like we're really focused on taking care of home, I'd love to seeif they can combine that with the tenacity they had on the road last year.
  21. I really don't want this thread to become a wizards thread / redskins apologsts thread, but please do keep in mind this is a redskins message board. You're frustration with the coverage of the other sports is valid, but the Redskins are sitll a billion dollar franchise. They won't get swept under the rug, and its not just old people that haven't let go of history yet. The Redskins have more championships then the other 3 major sports teams in DC combined, so they still have work to do to get the sort of following the redskins do, because that generation that was there for that is still very much alive and well. I'll do my part not to bring them up in this thread (even for example purposes), but I hope no one is shocked if in a some way the Redskins are defended in some way here considering this is a Redskins message board. It's human nature, please try to understand.
  22. Could be end of Garret Temple if this comes through, at least for this season. I do like the idea of having so many shooters on your team, no matter what, someone is likely to be able to be hot enough to hit those open shots Wall sends his way.
  23.    lol, get out of here, man. Now it is. This thread goes all the way back to 2010 for crying out loud : )
