  1. Yeah. I could see him being OL1 to be honest with you
  2. After out experience with Chris Paul, I can't see us going after his younger brother. Your descriptions sounds like Chris Paul in terms of his clunkiness. If he were there at our 3rd round pick? Sure, I'd take a gamble. However, I'm not spending either of our 2s on him.
  3. I think he's much more of a lock to be OL #3 than Latham is. Frankly, I could see him going above Alt if others see the same concerns that GC has spoken of. I could also see Guyton potentially being OL #1 as well. I don't think there is any way he slips to the 2nd. Too many teams need OL help. I can't see him slipping past the Saints as they need a new RT to replace Ramczyk who might be forced to retire.
  4. I disagree on the home/road selection. I've always preferred to white jersey with burgundy pants at home. Just seems so elegant and classic. We should only wear the burgundy tops whenever the opposing home team is wearing white. Otherwise, just stick with the white tops. Also, get rid of the god awful black outline of the numbers. Bring back the yellow outline!
  5. The Eagles kind of planned this as Jurgens can slide right in at C. Still, huge loss for them.
  6. Have no idea where McCarthy goes. I could easily see Denver taking him with their pick considering Russ is gone. Heck, he could go as high as Atlanta at 8 if they can't sign Cousins or trade for Fields.
  7. Yeah, NYG can't fire their coach and result in going 4 consecutive coaches of two and out (McaDoo, Shurmur, Judge, and DaBoll). I think Daboll is a solid coach in getting that roster to 6 wins was impressive despite all of their injuries. He's got to control his emotions though. For all the hate Ron got, the one thing I always appreciated about him is how stoic he was on the sidelines. He never lost his temper. Dallas has lingering cap issues with many pending FAs, the Dak situation (they have to extend him as he counts 60 million on the cap this year), extending Parsons & Lamb. Tyron Smith is probably gone (Tyler Smith will move to LT). Ditto Philly. Kelce looks like he just played his last game. Lane Johnson could easily retire after this year.
  8. Paul sucked this year. The OL went to a disaster when he was inserted into the lineup. Doubt he makes the roster next year. Charles (who wasn't great) was clearly the better player.
  9. I don't think you can credit Shanahan for McVeigh. He started out in Tampa for Gruden. McVeigh blossomed here with Jay. I'd credit the Grudens more for McVeigh than the Shanahans.
  10. Want nothing to do with Trent Brown. He flopped in Vegas after they signed him to a big deal. This past year, he sucked in NE. He's had weight problems his whole career. Do not want him at all. Would rather package our two 2nds to move up for a RT.
  11. I think McCarthy is 100% fired after this. Jerry is going to want a proven coach. Belichick, Vrabel, or even Harbaugh fit the bill
  12. We have to spend money on FA. With a rookie qb and his relatively small salary, weโ€™ll go buck wild relatively speaking this year
  13. What about Bryan Thomas Jr? I think he's battling Leggette to be WR4 personally.
  14. Yeah, Nielsen was very impressive as a DC. I think they'll be OK if they go after Kirk big time in FA. He's there one Ace in the sleeve. Minnesota can't franchise him and Kirk has always been all about the money all things equal. Where is he going to find a combination of OL and skill anywhere else? Blank is 82 and wants to win now. He's going to back up the brinks truck for Kirk. I can't see NE trading down from 3 and passing on Jayden Daniels, so Atlanta has no option in the draft. If not Kirk, then I could see Jacoby being a big target for them in FA. He'll take care of the ball and has been beloved everywhere he's been in the NFL. I wonder if the new coach keeps Nielsen considering what a turnaround the defense made under him? Same thing in Carolina with Evero who also fielded really good defenses with bad offenses in Denver as well.
  15. Yeah, with a new FO and his cap savings, Logan is probably a goner. There just aren't any quality TEs out there in FA or in the draft after Bowers (whom I think is a lock at #5 to LAC). That's why I think there's a chance he stays, especially for a young QB whom we'll draft. Any thoughts on trying to grab Hunter Henry in FA as a replacement? He's younger, but he's also got an injury history and would only be a stopgap.

Canโ€™t be as the international game Chicago has is a Bears home game. We play Chicago at FedEx.
  17. I know cutting Logan saves a ton of money, but I could see him coming back honestly. Are getting anyone better? Plus, another year out of the ACL injury.
  18. Yeah, I could see them taking a next tier QB with one of their 2s, but would Mara allow it? He seems to be in love with Jones. I figure they might actually trade down if they can for ammo next year to get a QB. Heck, they might wait two years and go all in Arch Mannning LOL.
  19. They have no choice. No way to get the top QBs and Jones is on a big contract (that they can get out of after next year).
  20. Nah, they can't trade up. It's going to be QB-QB-QB for the first three picks. No way can NE pass on QB at #3 overall, especially after the season they just had.
  21. Atlanta is by far the best fit. He wants to win now. He's going to go hard after Kirk in FA. Kirk would be wise to go there with their weapons and OL. Minnesota might voluntarily take a step back as they offered a ton to move up for Richardson last year.
  22. Oh, I agree with not spending big money on aging edge rushers. I was thinking more along the lines of someone like Bryce Huff as a pass rusher (only 25). No way am I going after Burns ( who I think will be franchised anyways). I think NE (with a ton of cap space) ends up franchising Onwenu if they can't extend him. They are going to draft a QB at 3 and need to protect him just as we do. Their fans are saying their OL sucked this year. Brown is likely done there. They need Onwenu and won't let him go. Tyron Smith might be worth the gamble for a couple of years. I wonder if he could slide into RT? Dallas doesn't have a lot of money and they have a ready made replacement in Tyler Smith who can slide to LT. It would be our version of the Andrew Whitworth signing. I'm with you on Cushionberry, but I think Peyton keeps him considering he always has prioritized the OL. Denver doesn't have a 2nd rounder, and they need a QB too. I think they'll spend to keep him. Hunt will be available considering the Dolphins don't have much cap space and need to extend Tua. I like Wilson, and would take him with our early 3rd. However, I figure he'll be gone after teams become enamored by his tape. He's a late 1st early 2nd type on talent and production. The only hesitancy is the injury history (two ACLs). That will cause him to slip.
  23. Yeah, he was franchised last year. I'm not interested in Barley at all. Robinson is a good back who is cheap and showed exceptional hands this year. He's a certified starting RB. I liked Rodriguez when he didn't fumble the ball. Hopefully he can work on that this off-season. Would rather get a cheap young scat-back type and spend the money on defense/OL.
