Yeah, it's a really good podcast. Even though it is from the Giants, it is NOT giants-focused and is entirely based on the draft. I don't agree with Pauline on everything (he has Daniels solidly as the 2nd QB for example), but he's entertaining and you can tell he knows about everyone. He's also been consistently low on Estime, but is very high on Corum. His take on Rosengarten was intriguing. Basically, he's got LT experience, but was moved to RT to protect Penix's blindside. I think we sign Biadez and Jonah Williams. Keim has hinted that a vet center is the priority. We have nothing at LT and although Williams isn’t elite or anything, he’s basically Leno 2.0 IMO. After that, we take BPA with our 2nd rounder for either G or RT and Wylie plays the other spot

It might be Cooper. Just don't know if we'd take a LB there (although we have a glaring need obviously). I'd rather gamble on Peyton Wilson with our early 3rd if he makes it, but he's got huge red flags medically.

I think Beebe will be there at 36/40. His short arms and poor weight-lifting numbers in the combine will cause him to fall. Morgan might fall to us, but I don't know if he's a tackle with those short arms as well? I could see Shanny taking him at 31 because he only cares about athleticism at tackle. CB is definitely a need and I could see us taking it with one of our 2nds. However, OL must be addressed with one of our 2nds. We really have nothing at tackle, so I figure we'll use 36 or 40 to take one. I also think we trade down from the other spot if we can to pick up an extra mid 4th for example. If Nix is there at 36, I could see a team trading up for him. I think Penix will be there at 36 for sure, but I'm not sure how he's viewed considering the extensive injury history.

I wouldn't overpay him either (although I do think he's better than McGlinchey was). Williams is basically Leno 2.0.

I can't see Paul sticking. He really sucked this past year IMO. There was a reason Charles won the job. What would you think about signing Becton to be LG as a cheap stopgap ala Erick Flowers (another failed tackle)? I don't think there is any possibility that Peters doesn't spend big on OL in FA. The other option is to move Wylie to LG. He's played G before and we aren't going to save any money cutting him. It was telling he wasn't cut last week. Maybe that is the plan? Spend big on RT in FA (Onwenwu?), move Wylie to LG, draft LT with the early 2nd?

Nah, they'll franchise him if need be. The real domino is if Kirk goes to Atlanta (he should as they could win that division with him starting). Minny probably does a rebuild and would take JJ if he's there (I don't think he would be). Atlanta than takes Best defender available at 8 or trades down.

I could see SF taking him honestly (had him in my first mock). Morgan fits their OL and they really don't care about length, etc. when they don't do drop back pass. I could see a team trading up for Nix if he's there at 36. Carolina probably takes best WR available at 33 to help Bryce. NE will take best OL available since they need to upgrade as badly as we do. Arizona probably sticks at 35 since they have so many early picks and won't trade down unless they get future picks not in this year. They might take best defender available since they will likely go WR and OL with their two first rounders. Yeah, reading their boards, they fans basically state that their OL is trash sans Trent. The scheme masks many deficiencies. If they have to throw, edges feast on the RT.

I think that is more of a reflection on Shanny than anyone. They have a very specific preference on OL. All they care about is athleticism. That's why they don't have a drop back pass game. Heck, Shanny couldn't draft OL when he was here either (sans Trent obviously). Remember Tyler Polumbus as our RT? Josh LeRebus?

Could Beckton be a sneaky FA target to play LG? Don’t know if he wants to do that, but he could be Flowers 2.0 in that regard

If we are signing a RB (which I don't think we should devote any big money to), give me Josh Jacobs over Barkley any day of the week. Barkley has always been overrated. Just look at last year, Cook was cut for a reason, and then didn't do anything in NYJ. Don't spend big money on a RB. I'm not devoting any major cap money on a RB.

He'll fall, but I figure we'll have to take him with that early 4th. You think he lasts that long? I really liked how Rodriguez ran last year in his limited reps. The key is that at least one backup RB must be able to play teams.

Considering the depth of the class and the obvious OL needs right, wouldn't waiting on WR be a better outcome? We probably get a contributor with our early 4th whereas the OL will likely be wiped out. We also have a big edge need. Right now (especially with the Leno release), we have to go: #2 (QB) #36 (OL/Edge) #40 (Edge/OL) #67 (LB/Skill/CB) #101 (CB/LB/Skill) #103 (Skill) #138 (RB) Now, we'll fill some holes in FA, but I can't see us taking WR with that either 2nd considering the OL & edge needs.

I think Dalton Schultz is a clear target for us. We have nothing at TE and DQ is familiar with him.

I really can't get into college basketball anymore. The quality of play is just horrendous.

I don’t think we can take anything other than edge and OL with our seconds. Quality edges will certainly be gone by our third. Ditto OL (sans maybe SVP) (but are we already giving up on Stromberg?). I think there is a much higher likelihood of getting skill at that early 3rd. Frankly, I’m targeting CB or LB with that early 3rd anyways. We can get skill with our late 3rd/early 4th. Right now, I’m saying our picks will be… 1 (qb) 2a & 2b (edge and OL) 3a & 3b (lb and cb) 4 (wr)
