    I finally got time to watch the Niners game last night. I especially expecting to see Heinicke look awful and Wentz excel. It was the opposite. Heinicke made some great throws and had a few taken away by penalty or drop. Wentz looked like the same statue, he got bailed out by shovel pass as he was getting sacked and a dropped red zone interception right the hands of a niner LB. Bottom line is our O Line sucks and our play calling doesn’t make things easier. If Wentz plays against Cleveland, I would bet on them getting over 6 sacks.

    I’m watching Fred Smoot’s opinion of today’s performance and he said you can put sugar on a turd but it won’t make it a 3 musketeers bar. I think he brings up a good point.

    Play some meaningful game toward the end of the season…. That goes for about every team in the league barring 3 or 4. This is our 3rd year under Rivera with no cap restrictions (unlike Shannahan). I expect more. I just don’t see it. We’ve invested in defense for years and it’s awful. I like Rivera as a person but his coordinators schemes are dated. If we win more than 7 games this year, I will be shocked

    This team is bad. The entire organization is bad. If they were a business, their doors would closed decades ago. Fortunately for them, they can print money. I wouldn’t hire the front office to run a Dollar General.

    Exactly. He was the best returner/receiver we’ve had in probably 20 years. Makes zero sense.

    Andre Carter at 43 would have probably produced more than Chase Young last year but that’s another story. But yea, seems like they were passing over dollars to save pennies when it comes to DeAndre Carter.

    Why did we let Andre Carter walk? Now we’re back in the same boat of trying to find a returner who can step in at WR on occasion. He was perfect in that role. He couldn’t have cost that much…

    I agree he’ll make it but listening to some training podcasts has me thinking he’s a bust for a 3rd round pick. He showed nothing last year and according to the camp reports he’s likely inactive this year on game days barring injuries to other receivers.

    Wonderful…I’m not sure that’s something you can teach out of a guy. He’s going to wow one minute by pulling out of a rush and hitting a bomb downfield then deflate when he gets pummeled and fumbling. It’s reminiscent of RG3. Jay said that was his biggest downfall, never giving up on a play.

    Think of the most idiotic mascot you can some up with and multiply it by 100, that will be their choice.

    I"m ready for Gibson's role to be reduced and for Robinson to get plenty of playing time, It's just not fumbles. Last year he had a couple of bonehead plays by not running out of bounds which could have cost us games. He's not a smart player and the fumbles are a major issue.

    I’m not sure I get it but if anyone cares my joke about Beal was just that, a joke based on some back and forth we’ve had previously. Based on some his other posts on music and such, I have a feeling if we sat down for 10 or 12 drinks, we would be the best of chums.

    Oh good lord, my common sense and morality has alerted @TradeTheBeal! to join the fray. He’s like some sort of ultra liberal superhero. If you’re on your way to get your 6 month old their 3rd booster and forgot your face shield at home, he will be there. If you’re in the finals of Rupaul’s drag show and break a heel on the runway, he will be there. If you’re walking around with a five o clock shadow, beer gut, and a mini skirt and a small child refers to you with the wrong pronoun, he will be there.

    Pretty weird times. One extreme you’ve got religious zealots and at the other end of the spectrum you’ve got the “I’m a 400lb man who identifies as a lesbian and enjoys banging farm animals, celebrate me!” crowd.

    Dinner when the wife is out of town. Don’t knock me on the cut, a blade or some ****. Only thing in the store under $20. Did about the best you could do, cooked it long enough to break it down a bit but not dried out. Not bad w/ enough Old Bay hot sauce.
