  1. I'm convinced some rival team's fan has created a voodoo doll of Emannuel which they poke and prod on Sundays causing such awful play on the field. I'm also convinced that doll weighs more than Forbes himself.
  2. Maybe he will be a total bust but they sure threw him to the wolves early. Maybe allowing him to acclimate to the NFL for a few games instead of having him shadow some of the top receivers in the league would have been a better strategy.
  3. I was shocked he didn't adjust this week. I gave him a pass the first two weeks, especially Denver bc we were down so quickly but why we came out passing the entire game is beyond me. I was hoping for what we saw in the 2nd half of Denver, quick hitters, runs, and screens.
  4. That game still stings. Gibbs calling 2 consecutive TO’s. F the Bills and their inbred fans (jumping on a folding table covered in Blue Cheese is cool!). Let’s do this.
  5. If we run for over 60 yds and Howell throws less than 20 time in the first half, we win
  6. Ron... beating the drums...really? Lets not get everybody kicked off this G D board. But seriously, I would bet money Ron had no idea who Howell was before the draft.
  7. I saw on a podcast (forget which one) that he was testing out a new technique during camp. I don't know, doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It's not rocket science and once you're successful at it, it seems like you wouldn't **** around with it.
  8. Never heard of a wooden Puerto Rican. You do get my reference? Ron's stoic demeanor during games is reminiscent of a wooden cigar store Indian. There were no racial overtones intended,
  9. Ron's best move to save his job might have already been taken, removing himself from any part of gameplan or personnel decisions on the offensive side of the ball. i believe that's already the case for the defense. Mod insertion: I edited dumbass phrase from perpetually dumbass poster who's been permanently banned from tailgate for perpetually clueless dumbassery on multiple fronts. No ban for this post though, and dude hadn't been totally banned yet cuz it seems more a matter of proudly embraced personal density than actual bad intentions. This long explanation made with deliberation and as a "pay attention readers" cuz there's a guy a few posts after this who's getting a temp ban for commenting on issues into this forum that don't belong here. Have a great day!! 😇
  10. Don't worry, Ron thinks Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald are lining up for the Cards Week 1. I just hope his wife doesn't tell him different.
  11. Even at a shell of his former self, I think I'd take him over Milne.
  12. Not out of the realm of possibility, but I think once RG showed up to Shanahan's office (with Dan's blessing of course) carrying a list of plays he would and wouldn't run, that relationship was done.
  13. I think Joe T finishes the season on the bench as a healthy scratch without the leg injury. I remember him being lousy that season and I just looked at the stats through 11 games. 55% completion - 8 TD's -16 Picks. Or if RG would have just stepped out of bounds...
  14. I miss the good old days when Training Camp was empty, our O-line wore button down shirts and ties to practice, and Bruce was slinging Coors Lights gearing for the afternoon putt putt game with Dan.
  15. Depends on Howell. If he’s dealing, no way I put him in harms way as part of the offense. If he’s not, sure…do what you got to do.
  16. I get it but I'd rather have our platoon of RB's do the running. Let Howell dispense the ball and hopefully develop into our QB for a decade or so.
  17. I know it’s wishful thinking but I could see an RG3 type debut for Howell. I could see Biennemy keeping the offense under wraps for the preseason and unleashing something great week 1. Not saying it’s sustainable at all but I could envision week 1 being fun. Hope I’m right.
  18. Davis is confirming his clown status with this lawsuit and effectively taking himself out of the conversation of ever owning a franchise in any major sport.
  19. Just waiting for the Harris group to announce their first order of business is to reimplement Snyder's policy of charging to see training camp and watch fans line up to jump off the Key Bridge.
  20. I had high hopes for Wright when he first got hired. I saw a few interviews and he seemed intelligent, affable, and capable of giving Snyder a new perspective on the franchise. What he's proven to be since then is a Snyder leech full of meaningless buzz words who values his role in the organization far greater then any improvements he can make to the franchise. What has he done that hasn't been botched aside from have the stadium pressure washed?
  21. I agree w this. The O line is woefully undermanned especially against some of our division rivals. Our only hope is we can scheme our way to overcome that. That said, a basically rookie QB with an entire offense learning a new offensive system makes that highly unlikely.
