Removing a braindead Dennis Rodman from the argument, the idea of the Globetrotters visiting there is a bit more difficult. On one hand, it can be argued they are endorsing this horrific regime. On the other hand, they have the ability to provide kids with a brief reprieve from an oppresive environment give a glimpse to a culture completely foreign to them. Granted probably the only kids there were from the dictator's lackeys families but kids nontheless. Either way, having N Koreans who routinely pledge to kill Americans cheer for a team wearing these uniforms is insane.

Great beer for the price. I also like their yuengling lager light for those times you feel like knocking back 5 or 20. It's actually has a nice flavor as opposed to other light beers.

It made me smile to read that D-bag got fired. My hope is that his internet fame makes him unhirable and he's forced to work the drive thru at Chick Fil A.

I know I've seen parts of this concert but I'm going to have to have a couple drinks and crank this up through the sound system soon and watch it in it's entirety. I agree, their early stuff was amazing and certainly blew away this 9th graders' ears when I first heard Appetite. I was into thrash metal at the time and even that didn't have the attitude of Appetite.

The did what normally takes bands decade long careers to do over the course of a couple years and 2 albums, Appetite and the Illusion albums. They went from gritty, nasty, stripped down rock n roll band to a bloated, hysterically over produced, arena act. Too bad to..a lot of potential.

I missed that but it's crazy technology. I know future interpretations of 3D printing include using living cells and reproducing human organs eliminating the need for transplants. And I can't even get my ink jet printer working....

In the video, they are currently able to scan items (in this case a wrench) then print it on 3D printer and form it out of a patented powder mixture and make a working tool. Pretty incredible.

Great post! I have to say some of those quotes from the players on our early 80s teams gave me chills...even the one from the Cleveland fan describing the scene from the 82 championship game. I remember watching that game distinctly. My dad and I, snow on the ground and cold, him stoking the wood stove and making sandwiches. Him scolding me after I cheered when Danny White was injured. It's why I'm such a fan now...

Anybody try the Sam Adams seasonal beer, Noble Pils? I was not expecting much since I've never been too interested in Pilsner beer but I was surprised by how flavorful it was. Very good.
