The Grannies are a great group. They travel all over trying to spread cheer through the holiday season. I had just seen them last Saturday for my town’s Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony.

I’ve stayed away from the news since Friday. This is the first I’m hearing and seeing this. What the hell is going on in my state?

I have not read the books either, and was wondering if I would be lost if I hadn't. Now I look forward to watching WoT.

She didn't though. ADA Binger in his opening statement, Dominick Black, first witness and Rittenhouse all have stated Rittenhouse drove (unlicensed) to Kenosha the day before. The day of, Rittenhouse, Black and other then went to downtown Kenosaha. Honestly, until the Rittenhouse incident happened. I had no idea WI was an open carry state (I have lived here my entire, nearly 50 year life). I can not recall a time where I had seen anyone, at anytime walking around with any weapon, other then during hunting season in the north woods. I did find it odd that people were allowed to walk around with guns, considering the situation that was occurring at that time.

He was watching the video that may or may not have show Rittenhouse pointing his gun at Rosenbaum, which would include provocation in the jury instructions. It’s tough to really see anything, even on the big screen 4k TV in the courtroom, but I sure a lot tougher from the judges seat.

I thought this was a good touch to his presentation...Yes, ADA Binger did use this...Trying to Swayze the jury?

Gov Evers just announced the mobilization of 500 national guard troops to Kenosha. From my understanding they will be on standby outside of the City of Kenosha, to be ready if local law enforcement request their help. Evers is urging people not from the area to respect the community and reconsider any travel plans to Kenosha.

The inclusion of provocation is helpful to the prosecution as well. They spent a good 45 mins today discussing provocation, regarding 1 picture or video where maybe Rittenhouse pointed his gun Rosenbaums way, which started the chase. (I only say maybe, because I couldn't make it out one way or the other). I also noticed that ADA Binger was not doing much of the talking the past 2 days. Also, thank you all for keeping this very difficult topic, situation, civilized. I am 10ish miles away. This is on every local news channel, local newspaper/website all day long. People here are clearly dug in on their sides and I fear what may happen here after the verdict.

Just want to point out that in the Prosecutors opening statement and the testimony of the first witness Dominick Black, the gun was purchased by Black and stored in Black's home, which is in Kenosha.

I hope I am wrong, but I think there is a strong chance there will be. There has been a lot of talk around here as well, that many are unhappy with the prosecutor, as many of the witnesses presented appear to make the self defense case for Rittenhouse.

I have not read the books, and I did walk out after seeing the movie wondering what the heck did I just watch. It's also on HBO Max so I had to watch it again after the theater experience. There is a lot going on with the Politics, Economics, Religion, Battle Planning, that the second view really helped with my enjoyment and understanding the movie. The cast is outstanding. Dune part 2 was green lit today as well.

Only gave up 9 sacks in 91 as well. 3 coming in the final game against the Eagles, and that offense wasn’t the quick drop back, west coast offense. Rypien was airing the heck out of the ball that season, half his TDS were over 25 yards if I remember correctly. 96 Packers were #1 scoring offense and #1 least scored against defense. Great team as well.

Pack, where is those located? The second pic looks familiar, but I can’t place it. I’ve seen a few waterfalls in Marinette County and around the Chequamegon National Forest in the Northwoods. It’s fun to take some bike packing trips through the logging roads to check that stuff out.

So my daughter was in town this weekend, and she wanted to watch a show on Netflix…Maid. It’s good, good acting, but it’s going to kick you right in the feels. It’s about a single mom trying to survive, starring Margret Qualley(Andie McDowells Daughter), Andie McDowell is also in it.

As a cyclist, I have had coal rolled at me, not given my 3 feet and things thrown at me. For the most part now I try to stick to pathways and have switched to mountain/Fat biking. There is a huge lack of respect for cyclist, even the head line “Pick up Truck Runs Over 6 Cyclists” shows that.

Finished it up this morning. I really enjoyed the show. The side characters are great. Sad that it is only 8 episodes, but season 2 is set to be 10.

I've been checking out Reservation Dogs. A Native American dark comedy set in Oklahoma, written by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi. It is on FX on Hulu, season 1 is only 8 episodes, but has been given the go ahead for season 2.

I know they lost today, but glad to see this again…and it is even better when you are actually there.
