  1. Calipari is the biggest crook out there wherever he goes the kids follow wonder why MONEY
  2. I don't expect it to be close at all. Cormier is a better wrestler and thats Barnetts only chance that little bit of weight advantage won't mean much. Cormier also has very good standout with outstanding speed for his size. I'd like to see Cormier fight JDS to be truthful.
  3. x2. Did you guys hear what JVG said I almost spit my water out. I guess one of the announcers said NY was the best player on the wizards and JVG said thats like being the best swimmer on the titanic.
  4. Steve believe me I also believe in taking BPA. But at this point it is'nt smart to draft MKG and hope he develops a jumpshot like the rest of these ragtags. In my opinion if we don't get #1 i'm looking to trade back unloading a salary possibly with a returning quality vet or multiple first rounders. If you could get both of Portlands picks for even #2 i'd do it. You could possibly swing a deal for Batums rights+ there higher first. Nobody in my opinion is a legit game changer in this draft but Davis. For the way this team is constructed the best fits are probably Lamb or Beal. I personally like Lamb the best he is by far a better defender, very long wingspan, constantly moves on offense, good shooter with range can spot up or score off screens. He has fallen under the radar because UConn stunk but without him they don't sniff that NCAA championship. Barnes is a good fit because of his defense, ability to finish on the break and he is a very good spotup shooter. He won't pound the ball and will fit within the flow of the offense. I still say Drummond goes #2 even though he is a lazy turd teams just don't pass on guys his size with athletism. I would over some of the other retreads like McMillian, D'Antoni, Skiles etc. He will run a screen&roll game that will fit Wall in the halfcourt and will demand defense.
  5. I agree but Wall sucks off the ball period. He needs the ball to impact the game even if his shooting improves that fact will never change. For him to develop we need spacing from shooters and a heavy high screen&roll game. We need to aquire guys that give him the best chance to reach his potential.
  6. Your missing the point Steve i'm a huge Mkg fan but he is'nt a great fit withour current roster. And after Davis there is'nt a huge difference in prospects. We neeed players that compliment what Wall does well or trade him period. Mkg will never be a alpha player or a big scorer. He is more of a loul deng type of glue player that can do everything but not great.
  7. I'm talking trading back into the 7-13 range alot of teams have multiple first rounders. You can also aquire a good vet in a trade down and/or get rid of a contract. I think alot of people value athletism over actual ability to play the game. Sully is gonna make alot of people feel stupid.
  8. If Wall is the guy we sink or swim with we have to surround him with pieces that fit his game. Barnes fits very good shooter who can finish on the break, rebounds and plays good defense. He is a guy who won't dominate the ball or try to play 1 on 1. Sully also would be a big boost in the halfcourt and especially in the pick&roll where he excels. I love Mkg but its not the best fit with Wall. I would take him 2nd if i had to pick. I'm trading back if i dont get #1. Target guys like Barnes,Sully,Beal,Lamb and Rivers.
  9. #1 Davis #2 MKG If its #3 i'm trading back Portland,Boston,Cleveland and Houston have multiple first rounders. You might be able to get a quality starter and get rid of a contract etc to trade back. Doc Rivers is gonna do everything possible to get Austin on the celtics. We can trade back and still fill a huge hole in the back court with Lamb,Beal or Rivers and possibly Sully might fall alittle. I love Doron Lambs shooting if we get a extra first. I think there is alot of good quality players outside this years lottery.
  10. I coulda swore that James Harden is a RFA as well. We might be better off trading back a few teams have multiple first round picks. The biggest hole on this team is a scoring 2 guard followed by a wing in my opinion. I can live with Nene, Booker, Seraphin with Vessely in spots. On TRob we are gonna have to just disagree the red flags are there but athletism makes people over look them. I like him as a prospect but he has serious question marks in my eyes that would make me not take him in the top 3. I just went thru the last 10 drafts I can't find a single case of a big top 10 pick developing late that became anything. You have guys who came on late like Sheldon Williams who was a glass cleaner and shot blocker, Thabeet, Udoh and a few others but all sucked in the NBA. In my opinion the star players at the NBA level have been the man on every level and from day 1.
  11. EFFORT. Wall can defend when he wants to but he is'nt a all star player in my mind unless he improves drastically. He has'nt improved a bit from last year or probably the last 3 years including at Kentucky. He has'nt been able to shoot or take care of the ball 3 straight years at some point you are, what you are. ---------- Post added April-2nd-2012 at 01:16 AM ---------- Guys that develop late like him. Can we put a list together of guys who could'nt sniff the court there first 2 years of college and became bigtime NBA players? I like him but not in the top 3. I like guys who have been the man from day 1 and stood out early on. If these players had 3 years of college there body of work and game would be far ahead of him. Davis Beal Lamb Sully Barnes MKG Rivers
  12. If TRob was such a stud he would have played in his freshman and sophmore years. Somebody make a list of stud bigmen who could'nt sniff the court there first 2 years who became a stud big in the NBA in the last 20 years. The Morris twins are'nt anything special to begin with. Sully would have started at KU from day 1. Comparing TRob to Webber is a joke. Also for a big TRob struggles with double teams and turns the ball over at a high clip for a bigman. I believe he averages almost 3 TO's a game. I'm not opposed to TRob but enough red flags are there to make me not touch him in the top 3. Drummond will be the #2 although I don't agree if he comes out. GM's will always over draft a kid with his size.
  13. I love his game just don't think he is the best fit here with Wall. We need shooters and guys who excel off the ball. We need to lock alot of our players in the gym shooting 500 jumpers a day. Can't wait to watch Sully do work tonight. He is the type of brute we need that is fundamentally sound but EG will never draft him. He likes flash over substance.
  14. Measured 6'3.5 (in shoes) 196 lbs, with a 6'7 wingspan at the 2011 Deron Williams Skills Academy. Not that it matters a ton he has a thick build for a 2 guard. The only issue he would have is big 2's posting him up or shooting over him. If we don't get the first pick i'd look to possibly move the pick for a young vet still on a cheap deal. Somebody like James Harden who OKC is'nt gonna be able to pay they are'nt a team that can afford the luxury tax. They can use the pick to get a guy on a rookie deal for a few years. A guy like Evan Turner is ready to bust out in a starting role. Maybe Eric Gordon would be available.
  15. WTF does Calipari have Davis playing for he is clearly limping. Another thing that sucks is I read Beal measured 6-3 in shoes so he is probably 6-2 if that. Probably not a big deal but it will hurt his stock alittle I think he ends up in the 5-8 range on draft day.
  16. He has been big this 2nd half. I can't wait to see TROB againest the UNC front tommorow. Barnes has to play big tommorow. Then Sully againest TRob or the Carolina front.
  17. Sully is having a old school party on the block the Cuse coulda used Fab Melo in this game. ---------- Post added March-25th-2012 at 01:09 AM ---------- bye bye Booker
  18. He has some Kevin Love in him. He will be a 16-18ppg 10reb player because he knows how to play I guess being a coaches son helps. I like William Buford in round 2 as well nice role playing 2 guard with range.
  19. Sully doing work the Cuse better tighten up quick. He is the type of guy you can screen&roll Wall with and throw it into the post whenever you need a bucket or to get a good shot.
  20. Beal has really growed on me his body is very much much in the D-Wade mold even the way he rebounds. But I don't see how anybody would take Robinson over Sully and I like TRob but he has red flags to me that would make me leery mainly 1 year wonder and TO's. When you look at body of work and fundamentals like setting screens, playing off screen action, posting up etc its a night and day difference. I think the Wizards mainly EG and alot of fans have become enamored with run jump athletes.
  21. I wanna see what he does againest the Carolina bigs those guys will play defense. T-Rob already turns the ball over at a high rate for a frontcourt player see how he handles guys longer then him. There are some red flags with T-Rob in my opinion that are being overlooked because of the athletism. The guy did'nt get hardly any burn up until he is a 21 year old junior and he turns the ball over at a high rate for a big. He averaged 7mpg his freshman year and only 14mpg his sophmore year and still almost turned it over 1.5 times per game in only 14 minutes. I would'nt take him over Sully no way, no how. Give me the fundamental brute who sets monster screens, hits the jumper, posts up, boxes out and rebounds. Sully starts over either Morris twin as a true freshman last year without a doubt. I like T-Rob as a prospect but no way I take him top 3. I'd take Davis, MKG, Sully without question before him. The problem with MKG is he is a 3 and he is'nt the best shooter either. This team needs guys who can stroke it like Barnes thats why alot of people are high on him with Wall. But Barnes will never be a # 1 option.
  22. Doron Lamb could be a great mid to late 1sr rounder as well if we could trade up love his jumper his 3 ball is deadly. Barnes will never be a creater but either way he has struggled some of late especially tonight.
  23. All the freshman play at elite programs the Morris twins while solid are'nt anything special at the college or NBA level. Marcus was a good player but Markieff got drafted that high on size. Sully would have started has a true freshman at Kansas and got major minutes or any other school same with Davis, MKG, Beal, Lamb etc. TROB was barely getting burn at all. Listen I like him alot but i'd be suprised if he truly measures 6-8 and over 230lbs. I would'nt take over the younger guys who have been the man all throughout HS and from day 1 in college to me there upside is higher but again my opinion could be swayed. Hopefully we get to see him againest Carolinas frontline this weekend. ---------- Post added March-23rd-2012 at 11:12 PM ---------- Hey Dukes I finally found your name on twitter and followed you. Mine was @RRose78 ---------- Post added March-23rd-2012 at 11:13 PM ---------- Hey Dukes I finally found your name on twitter and followed you. Mine was @RRose78
  24. T-Rob just does'nt look that big to me looks like 3/4 tweener like Derrick Williamss and Beasley. Beasley was a dominant rebounder his freshman year. My other concern is why is he just now getting alot of burn as a 21 year old junior. The Morris twins are not special talents. Most of the other top prospects did it from day 1 Davis,Mkg,Sully,Barnes,Beal, Lamb etc. What will they be at 21 they are still kids.
