  1. Rather have MKG/TRob or Barnes at #3 and Rivers/Lamb or Sully at #10.
  2. How in the world can you call him a shot jacker and a gunner really? He attempted 9 shots per game last year He attempted 13 shots per game this year He makes 50%fg is damn good for a 2 guard. Beal took 11 shots per game this year. Anyone who watched alot of UConn last year during the tourney run and this year know the deal with Lamb. Without him UConn don't sniff that championship hitting clutch jumpers late playing outstanding defense. This year he was the focal point of defenses and settles for way to many 3's no doubt.
  3. Just got finished watching more prospects. If Charlotte is dumb enough to pass on Drummond, i'd take him in a heartbeat. I've been submerged in his tape at only 18 the sky is the limit. He has the most upside of anybody in this class including Davis and I think he is gonna be a superstar center. We have a vet big he can learn under its the perfect opportunity to try to get that megastar. With Whittman coming back we will be in the lottery again and can hopefully grab another major piece. Do we wanna make the playoffs or have a chance to win championships. SWING FOR THE FENCES
  4. A few things Okafor is still a damn good smart vet that plays the right way and is very good defensively. He would start without a doubt over Seraphin and Booker. But that is a very good, deep frontline on a playoff team if Seraphin continues to play like late last year. If this move happened I think they pass on TRob for sure. Ariza would play as well he is to long and talented defensively not to he may not start but he would be the best perimeter defender on this team. At #3 they would look at MKG,Beal and Barnes i'm sure. At #10 probably the best shooting Sg/Sf available. Even if they went Beal at #3 doubtful i'd still consider Rivers to be a more efficient Crawford being a combo guard. And Lamb plays nothing like Nick Young or Martin. Lamb has a disgusting crossover and is much quicker. Lamb can go anywhere he wants with the ball but he likes short pullups, floaters etc where he is deadly in the lane. He settled for alot of 3's this year but he is a very good shooter/scorer especially when not the #1 option like last year with Kemba getting the attention. He is a good defender with his wingspan and will be able to guard 2 guards just fine. But he is excellent coming off screens getting himself wide open shots alot of that comes from being a coaches son. He is a smart basketball player and will help some team. His knocks to me is he will always be Reggie Miller thin and he does'nt finish at the rim but his pullup is deadly but it cost him FT attempts.
  5. Drummond has to get serious consideration. The Cavs seem locked into Barnes at #4 according to reports. I'm so torn on this draft i've been watching alot of videos and some tourney games on all these top prospects. I just really feel the real value of this draft is mid lottery i'd love to trade back. I like Barnes for this team better then MKG. I like Sully more then TRob although I could deal with the pick. No PT until your junior year and high turnovers scare me but atleast he is high energy. I like Lamb better then Beal and Rivers is right there. I think the Wizards want TRob but will choose between Barnes and MKG if he goes #2. Love to pickup #10 from NO and trade back a few spots maybe with the Kings for a future 1st they covet a guy like TRob,MKG or Barnes. ---------- Post added June-8th-2012 at 09:45 PM ---------- The story is on realgm and other outlets. The Hornets would be willing to dump #10 to dump Okafor and Ariza. It would be Rashard for #10, Ariza, Okafor You could probably flip Okafor for someone like Ben Gordon. I'd do it in a heartbeat were not signing a bigname anyway. PG-Wall-Mack OG-Ariza-Crawford SF-Singleton-Vesely PF-Nene-Booker C-Okafor- Seraphin Nene,Okafor and Seraphin can all play the 4 or 5. Okafor and Ariza are good defensively. Ariza is better defending Sf's but can play 2 guard. Thats a very good big deep frontcourt that can handle a injury. Then you have the #3, #10,#32,#45 picks
  6. From somebody that worksout religiously that is genetics. It helps being 6-8 though keep your bf down. I doubt he is a true 5% bf most get that low feel like death getting ready for a show with 0 energy. Still impressive being very lean and chisled. ---------- Post added June-8th-2012 at 01:54 PM ---------- Damn alot of guys measuring out well this draft is so deep. Terrence Jones looks like a Pf now he will be a steal. Mkg was 6-5.75 alil small for my taste at Sf but its serviceable for sure. Sully measured out very well almost 9ft standing reach. Drummond is a freak 9-2 standing reach As u guys can see the release shoes and no shoes measurments and some have 2" added while other only 1". Thats the reason for barefoot measurements.
  7. 6-8.75 in shoes Trob so 6-7.25 without 6-4.25 in shoes for Beal so 6-2.75 without Trob only had 5% bf
  8. Ariza is a decent shot and a good defender and u still have 2 top 10 picks.
  9. Interesting trade idea Rashard Lewis for Okafor,Ariza and #10. Wall-Mack Crawford Ariza-Singleton- Vesely Okafor-Booker-Vesely Nene-Seraphin Nice big frontcourt and Ariza and Okafor defend both come off the books in 2014.
  10. It does'nt matter who we sign. The fact is Wall and Mkg would play 35+mpg and defintely be in during crunch time. Thats 4 positions right there that are' nt any real threat outside. Teams will pack it in and force jumpshots our fastbreak will be limited to dunks and layups. EG has done horribly assembling this team. If we would have drafted Klay Thompson we would be in good shape right now.
  11. Barnes over Beal without hesitation. I'd try to trade back though regardless of who is there. If we plan on Wall being our Pg for the next 10 years you can't draft MKG and i love his intangibles. You can't have 2 guys like Wall and Mkg playing 35mpg unless you had a legit stretch big like Kevin Love. Coaches are smart and will just pack it in forcing jumpers. Who will hit wide open shots on the break? Not only that but our last couple first rounders Wall,Vesely, Singleton cant shoot a lick either. But people who advocate MKG think the solution can be found in rd 2 lol. Even signing a high priced player would'nt solve a team wide issue. In this league you gotta hit shots. Barnes is a above average defender already.
  12. C' mon losing to GSP and Diaz no shame in that at all. BJ fights top guys no matter the weight class. Even in the Diaz fight he battered Diaz's face. Rory got ko'd by Condit and was hurt in the first rd of his latest fight. BJ will Ko Rory and will beat most welterweights and lightweights in a 3 round fight still.
  13. BJ Penn called out by Rory MacDonald agreed to fight in Toronto. I think BJ Ko's him but great opportunity for Rory.
  14. I said he gets knocked and nitpicked to much and drops lower then he shoulda been like Pierce and Gay. I never said he plays like either. And college sets are are alot different then Nba sets. The game is faster more wide open with way more spacing.
  15. thats a really good comparison. He reminds me of Glen Rice. I think he is the guy who gets knocked like Pierce and Gay did and some team will get a steal. The wide open NBA style fits his skillset alot better then the slowed down methodical college sets teams run. Barnes is gonna be really good spotting up on the break.
  16. Wall needs to learn how to shoot, take care of the ball and defend with more effort. When that happens then he can have some pull until then play ball.
  17. He can shoot really well but he don't really shoot the 3 ball well. He is very team oriented type of glue player
  18. He is healthy and playing pickup at georgetown. I'm torn I like Jeff being a Hoyas fan but he is a tweener not big enough for Pf and not quick enough for Sf.
  19. Memphis would want our pick. Gay is still very good and young although overpaid is very effective. Take all this info with a grain of salt its lunchroom type chatter at the arena. Free agents to look out for Kris Humphries, Irsan Illoysova, Batum, Lou Williams to streaky for me though. Was told Jeff Green very likely signing. That fits in with the high praise and saying he was a perfect fit on comcast last week by Ron Thompson believe he has inside info. Also there rumors of interest last year after his heart ailment by both sides.
  20. I just talked to a good friend who works at the arena. He said he is hearing rumors of a Rashard Lewis for Boozer deal. Chicago wants out of his contract. Offensively and on the glass thats a huge pickup if it happens. Also said he has talked to bball FO members casually and they love Barnes and TRob.
  21. You could tell the way Ted mentioned him in the articule I posted a few pages back. In reality this team does'nt have a true PF other then moving Seraphin or Nene there. Booker is a tweener but gets by with hustle. Vesely is a Sf I don't care what anybody on here says the guy can't rebound or defend the 4 spot and does'nt have the frame to add a bunch of strenght/weight without juice. What he does well is defend the perimeter especially the screen&roll game. I think the TRob picks makes alot of sense even though I like Sully better. Our centers don't rebound and we don't have a true PF. Beal won't be a top 3 pick and would'nt be in any draft. MKG is just a horrible horrible fit with the cast EG as assembled. And me personally I think Jan and Singleton will develop into shutdown defenders at SF. Singleton was a monster defender in college and I think without training camp he struggled with the speed of the game with a full offseason I think our rookies are much improved.
  22. Yeah thats alot of the point i've been making in previous pages. Give Rondo a lineup of Crawford, MKG, Booker, Nene and see how many assist he gets. Wall needs guys that can knockdown shots off his dribble drive especially coming off screen&rolls. ---------- Post added June-2nd-2012 at 09:14 PM ---------- Lamb will score from day 1. Lamb is much better then Rivers off the dribble, he can spot and shoot off screens and is probably a better shooter overall in my opinion.
