At the 1:25 mark he pushes the guard back into the QB forcing the overthrow/pick. Something Im sure I didnt even catch while watching the game live.

If you extrapolate the height of coach and player, the length/angle of shadows/time of day, as opposed to the location of the field markings you come up with a 6 foot buffer. Its all in the maths.

Damn I miss the Cold War.

A little perspective. First Pre Season game is Thursday Aug 12 in New England. That's just 15 days from now (two weeks, one pay period, fortnight). Hell yeah!

Couple of questions..... Where all the first day of training camp tweets be at? Second, why only a 4 day stint in Richmond, seems like a waste of time and effort...contractual thing? Tired of hitting refresh for no reason!

With the additions at WR this year and more competent QB play, I'm not sure Logan will see the ball as much this year. Though having said that I can also see him getting less attention from defenses and it resulting him getting better looks.

Here of course lies the conundrum, going to be too good this year to get a high draft pick without giving up huge amounts of capital. Im hoping one of them really steps up so we can perhaps have time to develop a QB that can be found late 1st or later. Who knows how it will ultimately work out but its a bit of a concern long term. Plus relatively speaking long term for Fitz is what 3 or 4 years and maybe 10 for Heinike?

Channeling my inner Pitman4two.....WFT will win most of the games that they score more points in than the opposition.

The other thing that strikes me about Heinike is his decision making process, how quickly he seems to process his receiving options.

I got the impression during the off season that Rivera was not nearly as high on Heinike as some of us fans. Im also thinking we, as fans, tend to read way too much into snippets of information that's presented to us. I think he will play the best option, I just cant see Heinike being so far ahead of Fitz that he gets the nod though?

Long snapper sighting! Im happy now.

Yeah, joking about the tweets and stuff but would be nice to know that the rookie seems to be able to handle the job. Im kind of big on special teams.

Id also like to point out that I still haven't heard anything about our new long snapper. I fully expect that today is the day we get a tweet, twitter, facegram, instatweet, "AOL you've got mail", bloody smoke signal that indicates if he can get the ball to Tres Way without him picking it up off the turf or jumping 3 feet as it sails over his head!

Yeah and Fitz looks a little....fluffy around the mid section.
