It doesn’t matter if a high pick was used to get them; if they fail to make the cut in training camp; there gone. It doesn’t matter what they did in college or where they were drafted at. The will have to earn to keep their roster spot and if they get beaten out in camp; they are gone. It’s a new regime. It’s a complete reset. The questionable holdovers have to earn a spot. I think only Terry, Jarod and Jonathan are the only holdovers that are locks to make it. Everyone else has a chance to be beaten out.

Trump will repeal the civil rights act, if he gets a chance to; if he gets in. The only way whites can get their white nation paradise is to repeal that law. We’ve had 60% roster turnover so far. That will likely rise after training camp as more holdovers fail to make the roster.

Steelers are getting dissatisfied with Tomlin not winning a playoff game since 2016. Another season without a playoff win and Steelers may make a change.

The Fall Guy- Gets a C+. Not much of a plot for the movie based on the 80’s Tv show. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt did have good chemistry though. There’s a mid credits scene that’s a postscript to the movie and has cameos from a couple of people from the tv show. For a brief second the bionic sound from Six Million Dollar Man appeared.

Fields isn’t any good; if he was, he’d still be with the Bears.

Fields start and Tomlin has his first losing. If Russ is done, Steelers won’t be winning if they have to rely on Fields. If Russ is cooked, Steelers will be looking for a new qb in 2025 and likely under a new coach.

With so much change in the roster and a new coaching staff that hasn’t worked together before; it will take time to jell. I figure we struggle early and people will think it’s the same old Commanders/Redskins but as things start to jell, we will get better. By the end of the season, there will be hope going into 2025. 6-11/7-10 seems most likely and us drafting between 8-12; which will help us out next year. 8-9 would be ceiling if Jayden does really well.

Alright the draft is over. We might still sign someone in free agency now or after the June 1st cuts but the bulk of the roster has been acquired. Yeah, we could sign someone after training camp cuts but doubtful anyone would an impact. So, what do really expect for 2024?

You know winning regularly will make people forget that. As for any change on those fronts, that will tied to when the new stadium will be built.

I don’t even remember the last time I listened to AM radio; which I only listened to for talk - sports or political. You can now listen to those stations thru apps. I only listen thru SiriusXm in my car for talk or music.

Thing is, waiting until the fall to campaign heavily is too late to change minds. By September people’s views will have hardened and they aren’t changing. Trump isn’t going to get all those voters to vote him but Kennedy,West,Stein could and it could be enough to tip the election to Trump. Biden and Dems need to over the summer explain what awaits under Trump rule and then explain what awaits under 4 more years of Biden. I think they’d win that comparison. They already have examples at the state level with what the gop does and what would happen if Trump gets in.

Even though I’m not expecting a winning season this year; by the end of the year, we should be able to put the Snyder era behind us for good. We will be going into 2025 knowing brighter days are ahead.

If both Allen and Payne have good years and Newton plays well; I can see us trading Allen or Payne. It will be cheaper and maybe we can get at least a 2nd rounder, maybe even first.

When the Commanders become regular winners, they won’t need to do that here. Just not having a scum as owner, is a big plus. Dirt about other organizations or owners is coming out now.

. Remember Bears went 7-10 last year. They just needed a qb. Nfc North will be interesting but the Bears could make wild card and nfc north could send 3 teams to playoffs. Bears- Commanders in October.

Schedule should be announced in a couple of weeks. Potential national games: Either Dallas game. Either Philly game. Atlanta- Reunion against Kirk Baltimore- JD vs Lamar Chicago- seems likely matchup between Top 2 picks.

The o-line will limit what this team can do this year. It’s not a playoff year though the ceiling is 8-9, based on JD alone. Actually making the playoffs this year doesn’t help much. Another year of drafting in the lower half of Top 10 will benefit us. I expect 2025 to be the highest we draft for a long time.
