GC8 Bunta
Obviously, a bright spot from yesterday. the kid has heart. you saw him reach out for that TD... all effort right there. he wanted it. not only this play, but blocking on punts (holy crap? is that a WR) i can't wait to see him play when he learns the ways of pro football. i like his aggression (he'll learn to control it as he matures). dare is say like Sean Taylor but on offense. he has all the physical abilites, just needs to learn the game. i actually like this kid as our playmaker more than Malcolm kelly. DT11 is a stud
gortiz
i feel you ... he was running HARD AS HELL. Its gonna be fun to watch him catch those 5-6 yards slants and then haul arse. Then MK is gonna be that deep/red zone threat. They are gonna be a killer 1-2 punch. I can dream can't I???
KDawg
It's not really a dream. They have a very good shot of panning out, gortiz. It's year one. Rookie receivers take a bit to get acclimated
MattFancy
I'm hope you're right. Both of them have potential, if they could just stay healthy and keep working with Campbell, we could have 3 solid WRs next year. Imagine that...
andyburd
Finally, we get to see that they can play. If they stay healthy, they could be real good for the future of our offense. Now, if we could only pass block
CRobi21
Yea, we talked about this yesterday. The ONLY bright spot yesterday was DT11's desire to get into that endzone. Very athletic, and encouraging play!

[[ghost]]
I didn't understand how good of a runner he was until now. Now, if we could actually get him the ball, he could do some magic. I don't understand why James Thrash is allowed to play football offensively.

santana_4_prez
Just curious, what are the ramifications if we cut ARE? I like the guy, but he just doesn't produce for us...
DB44
It was unfortunate the bomb Thomas caught against N.O. or the Cards earlier in the year was called back due to a punch by Heyer. The guy needs to be on the field. Punt Returns? Deep throws that he can fight for. He looks like a game changer when given the chance.
Blackest Eyes
Devin's TD yesterday was awesome. Now we just need to get him the ball more...but he needs to be in the right spot too, ha.
shakinaiken
I kept asking myself at the game, why isnt Devin Thomas in more? He gets one touch yesterday, and he scores... need to get this kid involved
Capt. Kaos
DT wanted that TD! You could see it in the way he ran and the way he celebrated it. I think he is going to be solid for us, along with MK. I cant wait.

HitStickTaylor21
To come clean, I've been a Devin Thomas doubter/borderline hater. I have to admit I like the way, as the OP pointed out, he plays with so much heart. The way he comes over to every player who makes a play, it seems like he's a great teammate and really starting to put the team first, rather than himself, as I thought might be the case when he said he "really didn't miss much" when he was hurt in training camp. I hope he develops into a go-to receiver, he clearly can be explosive with the ball in his hands. I just wish we could get the ball into his hands as a receiver, rather than a trick play runner. I'll be happy to be served wrong if he really develops for us.
Chaser1559
Thomas' touchdown was the lone bright spot in yesterdays debacle of a game. The kid really impressed me in his drive to get in the end zone he was really trying hard to make the most of the play called. A good play called be Zorn as well, can't say the same for the rest of the game. IMO Zorn's play calling was all over the place, I understand that you want to stay with the run to keep defenses honest but when your down 23 to 7 and 10 or 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter. What the "****" are you doing trying to run the ball when you need scores fast and you haven't been able to run the ball all game to start with, for that matter why weren't we in the hurryup offense more or at least the no huddle. :gaintsuck
Jofizz
Loved his passion yesterday. I knew he had the playmaking abilities in him, just takes some time to develop. I also liked how he threw up the 2-1 immediately after he scored.

Xero21
One good play and we all love him. I agree though, I have always thought he just needed more opportunities. He can be a playmaker and we've now seen a flash of what he can be.
GC8 Bunta
That guy started his dive from like the 5 yd line after stiff arming a would-be tackler to the ground. DT = stud
SkinsAllDay34
I like that MK and DT are only like 21 and 22 years old. They are still pretty young and on top of that it takes rookie wrs time to develop, in DTs case he was raw to begin with.
